Easily removable if you need to clean it, but frequency will depend on how often it rains and if there are many trees shedding leaves on your roof. We have many trees and lots of leaves get in our gutters. I suspect we’ll check it every 6 months, but it’s a self cleaning filter, so even that may be unnecessary.
