I really enjoyed working with MonoGame, I switched after the unity thing. It's quite a learning experience, you'll develop lots of tools yourself you take for granted. But after months with MG I realized how useful an editor is, and how much time you'll save being able to edit resource in editor. I know MG doesn't try to be a game engine, but an editor would be cool
