We’re three almost 50 year old family fathers, sitting here in my neighbors office, partial Lockdown, nowhere to go out, really cold outside, -10 Deg Celcius, sat in comfortable chairs, everyone else is fast asleep and we’re listening to this amazing music over Bowers&Wilkins loudspeakers. Sitting, fully relaxed, eyes partially closed, nodding our heads, feeling totally at peace with everything and everyone... We’re totally spaced out. This guy and his outstanding music are just phenomenal!!!!! Best wishes and greetings to you all. You all stay healthy and keep up a positive spirit to everyone you encounter. No judgement, no prejudice thoughts, just “Letting Go And Letting God”. You all have a good time. Best regards, Steven (Switzerland)

It's not even Sunday, and still your comment put me into that highly specialized kind of "extase" you get from the addition of each minute into a certain "culte." (FunnyNOT: the different meaning in English!) Or each gesture of the clergy and the communicants and the musicians in some regularly scheduled Sunday morning Mass. Since the topic is "La ville lumière:" My "ricain" mind goes back to an ordinary but extraordinary Lutheran worship service in Les Billettes. it was a beautifully lazy Sunday am, kindly+ancient bells going off at different intervals from--so it seemed to me--every church edifice across Paris. I came especially to hear an exceptionally well crafted pipe organ built by the outstanding Mühleisen House, origins in Alsace but also fully active across the Rhein to.this day. Two brothers of the Mühleisen dynasty. I took a place near-ish the mid-sized instrument in the balcony at the opposite wall to the altar and "chair" below, all in full view. 30 mins audition d'orgue by an invited guest organist from within Paris, or France, or any country in the world. Buxtehude. Bach 9/8 C Major. His own transcription for organ of a cantata movement known popularly as "Le choral du veilleur." Really, a 30" prelude headlong into the service. With music, communal singing of the immortal German chorals in French, a careful+impassioned sermon by a young/dynamic pastor, and finally; a communion of Paris's "merveilleusement déclassés" one-by-one to excerpts from Buxtehude's luminous, chill fantasy on "How Brightly Shines the Morning Star." I needed 2 oxytocin pills like I needed a hole in the head. (Like u3 guys ha.) ....similar experience during mass on another Sunday morning in Saint-Sulpice. It was the insistent inclusion by all the communicants around me on the vast floor below the organ loft that I can not forget. The deliberate smiles, exchange of hands, the right words, briefly. Me: "Ah merci, à vous pareillement." Both times: against but yielding to my better judgment I felt like whispering "Hold me fast and hold me tight...la vie en rose...je ne regrette rrien de rrrien" But I did think it loud and proud. Vive la France! Same to Monolith. Listen to his The Otherside to bring everything that's good back to mind. I can barely even imagine those vibey-genial sounds rising from the underside of one of the bridges and the quais, upward into neighborhoods of both "rives," gauche et droite. And everybody that's within range: in the flowzone. Life is so much more 3D and 4D beautiful than it is 1D and 2D ugly! Vous croyez les gars? Amitiés toujours et à jamais, Mark (cowboy town Arizona, [St Johns/San Juan] )

Monolink is highly coordinated and focused. While everyone else can get lost in his brilliant music, he is constantly tuning and aligning things real time without even the slightest disruption in his voice or music. That's class a professionalism.

@markbell99733 жыл бұрын
The Seine River (of Rivers=the history, suicides, lovers, etc.) It tcuts Paris in half. Overhead, one of the +/- 20 bridges that link the "Right Bank" with the "Left Bank." Within the old city walls there are pretty wide, paved walkwaye called "quais' on both sides of the river. Lunchers, stroll-ers, a few skaters, joggers, sunbathers in designated areas. By night, every kind or stuff usually 99% harmless but still that bit of scary adventure-edge if you are feeling unchallenged. Short stretches of the "quais" were given names long ago, or a name change more recently to memorialize some transitional event in the city. The name for this stretch is Quai Saint Bernard. To have been there.... Makes me drool. The vibe and multilayers of the set scream understated "Paris City of Lights." Kinda unimagineable. A comment in pissy French bemoans that this is not the full set. The ayuhaska must have broken thru that line that takes you off this earth for a minute. Ya don't publicize this mind-body state. It stays forever and exclusively wiith that magic group of ravers...as a communal secret.
