Monport GP50 50w fiber laser unboxing review

Picked up a Fiber Laser Engraver and have been learning how to use it over the last month or so.
Monport GP50 50w Raycus Galvo Fiber Laser.
I haven't seen any videos on this exact machine other than by the manufacturer, so I figured I'd put one together. Overall I’m very happy with my purchase.
I use Lightburn and Autocad for most of my design work. There are a ton of good videos on KZbin and groups on Facebook that are very helpful to get good setting starting points and to troubleshoot issues that arise.

Do you have any suggestions for what i could use as an enclosure for this laser? I was thinking of using a fire retardant 3d printer enclosure but it seems risky to me.

I havent found a need to enclose it. They are kinda spendy but the only thing i would like is a visual shield with laser safe green plastic so i dont have to wear safety glasses all the time. You will want some kind of fume extraction. I just use a small 12v fan hooked to a dryer hose that blows outside. Maybe build a plywood box around it with a hinged front door

They currently sell an enclosure for this on their website. It is not cheap, but worth it in my opinion AND shows the company listens to constructive feedback.
