apparently the typing experience is not great and there is a lot of rattle/wobble on the keys. is this true?

no wobble more than normal. doesn't sound great and the RGB is a bit dim that's the only downside

i think if you look it up you'll get plenty more useable results because i don't play valorant. And even if i did, i'd be just an okayish player
