One of the most thrilling fights against massive yellowfin tuna that i ever had weighing 103 kg (227 lb) absolute beauty of a fish that inhaled my popper all the way to the gills allowing me to land it in just 7 minutes. Depends what fish your after but for big tuna I prefer the Stella 18000 HG

You were lucky, the fish didn't fight much. 100+kg bluefin would kick your ass on spinning gear

Yeah was lucky had the popper in the gills.. how ever have already fought fish this size for over 1.5 hours solo.. biggest blue fin I got was 170lb on spinning gear took about 15 min to land… not sure who is a stronger fighter but pretty sure yf and blues are very much a like.
