Monster Control Crew fights Lynel!! (totk)

Longer video than usual. I tried showing more of how I was able to accomplish bringing the crew to a lynel while still including the long fight. Let me know if you enjoyed this longer type of video or if you think I should try shortening it next time. Also, let me know if you'd like me to revisit this idea except have the crew face a gleeok.

You should try taking them to the Depths to fight a Frox.

I know they said they don’t have DLC plans, but it would be so great to see some legitimate Monster Control Crew missions programmed in to take down a Lynel or Gleeok.

I would say the control crew did a decent job taking out half the lynels hp. This really goes to show just how OP link is

I mean the crew does have like 7 damage weapons sooooo I mean imagine having to face a lynel with a thorn fused to a travelers sword you’d probably struggle aswell

As the saying goes: You can lead a monster control squad to a Lynel, but you can't make them do damage.

Just remember that one of the missions involves a MCC member. He was stuck on Eventide island, and when you complete the quest assigned to you by him, he gives you a literal BLUE LYNEL HORN. Said he picked it up on one of their expeditions. Definitely tells you that the Monster Control Crew is capable of doing much more than just taking out boko camps. It's a shame we dont see them doing anything much more other than clearing monster camps. If only we could see a team devising strategies for taking out minibosses like Hinoxes, Talus, or even Lynels!

This is Why Link is the hero, they do nothing against the weakest Lynel, while Link, can easily hunt silver ones, Rauru was right, Link is the last Line of defence.

Well youre in luck, I just released a new video about the gleeok idea. For the other two however, They would despawn if they were to go down into the depths so the Gannondorf idea wouldn't work. I would have to try and see if any other crews have members that have weapons that could break a lynel's armor. If they did, I guess I could make a timelaspe of it though the crew wouldn't survive long enough to defeat the lynel.

​​@@supremetortilla9091 And even if you manage to let them fight against Ganondorf: NPCs instantly "die" when touching Gloom (saw this in the vids with them Fighting Gloom Hands and Phantom Ganon) , so all Ganondorf needs to do is doing a Spin attack which causes a Gloom Puddle to appear around him and they all perrish.

I think you need to ride the lynel's back with lots of stamina food, so they can hit him. He's too fast for them. Or keep parrying his attacks....

The stamina idea is actually a really good idea. I should have thought of that when I did it. If I ever revisit the idea I'll definitely use this strat👍

Yeah I'm definitely split on it. In some ways I thought they did a great job and added great mechanics. But in other ways I feel like I'm just playing Breath of the Wild.

@@supremetortilla9091 Bro literally we paid $70 and waited like 6 years just for Ultrahand which is useless gameplay wise once you make the hover bike and get a decent amount of battery containers and for the depths which nobody really spends time in unless it's for Zonite or to fight lynels and a basically 5 Sky islands and a few random floating boulders with nothing on them. The land vehicles you can make are either too slow to make it worth it or they have no use outside of Hyrule field because of the terrain so we all just end up flying everywhere. And on top of it all the story wasn't even that good. We still know nothing about the Zonai other than how they looked and Ganondorf wasn't that much of a threat to anybody he was just below the castle waiting for Link

@@supremetortilla9091 I'm so mad they didn't add the hookshot for a second game in a row. Imagine how fun combat would be if they worked some of the combat around the hookshot so we could use it as a grappling hook like Batman. Their excuse for not adding it is because "it makes climbing too easy" but then they let us have a power that can phase us through roofs, rockets that takes you a 100 ft in the air in 2 seconds, hover bikes and Revalis Gail in the last game...
