Just to clear up some things about Consumed King Oceiros for those who haven’t played the game, the little crystal lizard was not the boss. That’s a regular (but rare) enemy, whose body you see in a couple shots so they did try killing it. Oceiros _is_ the one and only dragon man that they kill, but he is, however, a two-phase boss, and so my best guess is that the transition from phase one to two is where the game messes up. You see them wait for him to transform, but even after that it’s still glitched. All in all I just don’t think there was a right answer on this one, short of un-hacking the game and playing the fight straight.

I have a possible explanation of what happened with Desire King Oshiro: In the previous boss fights, Gil had killed the bosses before he had gotten to them (except for the stink-tree, but that probably wasn't put in as a random enemy). When he triggered the bosses to spawn again, there was only ONE of them on the map. For Oshiro, Gil probably just didn't find the actual boss wandering around the map. When the fight was triggered, the health bar linked to the wandering Oshiro that already existed, which was outside the map. GIL CAN STILL DO IT YOU JUST HAVE TO BELIEVE
