Disufiroa, also known as the Frozen Seraphim Dragon, is an incredibly powerful elder dragon that has mastery over fire and ice. Its very presence created the World’s End, a barren wasteland in which nothing can survive. It attacks anything that enters its territory. It and Shantien, another extremely powerful elder dragon with control over fire, water, and thunder, fought bitterly against each other for supremacy over the domain where it resides, which Disufiroa won. Interestingly enough, when fighting Disufiroa, you never actually land the killing blow. Even though it has mastery over both fire and ice, the two elements are constantly at war with each other within its body, so it must constantly keep balance between the two or risk losing its own life. After you have weakened it enough, it no longer has the strength to keep them balanced, and so succumbs to the warring elements and dies.

The intenstiy of this music is not for show, monster hunter frontier is a game that takes place in near the frontier of the known world of monster hunter, everything here is way stronger than its supposed too, multiple dragons living there could end a civilization by themselves, and disufiroa is amongst the very top of this insane foodchain, the fight is as intense as the music and you really feel at the end of the world

Frontier is a whole different ball game in terms of gameplay as well as the music. Frontier is basically a spin off, whereas Mainline games tend to focus more on their monsters fitting in the world and being rather grounded as an ecosystem Frontier goes hard on big fights, they'll ignore grounding their creatures in the world if they can make a better fight for it - as far as I'm aware from an outsider looking in on Frontier, never having played it myself. I'm surprised at the difference that there is in the sound as well, I wasn't expecting it and I'm probably going to need to add this to a playlist in the future.

Frontier isn't exactly a spin off to me tho it's more like a separate title that takes place at frontier of the known world and possibly in another age...? It's also quite ironic that frontier takes more time to explain lore of the ancients than the main series

monster hunter frontier is a japan only MMO spinoff of monster hunter. it shut down a few years ago, but some private servers have been set up after a few years of work by fans, so it's possible to play again. frontier is most known for being especially flashy compared to the main series. this monster is a good example, with a lot of explosions and big moves. the fight even opens with a huge barrage of projectiles as soon as the fight starts. as for background and lore, it's basically a world ending dragon that controls fire and ice. it's fought in a barren, desolate looking place called world's end. normally, the fight ends after it accidentally kills itself in phase 2, but there's a special version of the fight where it revives and becomes even stronger. frontier is definitely a misunderstood game, although that misunderstanding is somewhat rooted in truth. the game can get really flashy, but there's still a ton of monsters that are more grounded. but a lot of fans have only seen the flashiest fights, and judge and disregard most of its monsters because of it. not to mention the main series has been getting flashier in recent games, and they've been adding a lot of frontier-like mechanics and attacks to certain fights. anyway, frontier has really really good music, one of my favourite soundtracks for sure.

Dhisfuroa at this point of the game(as it was an MMO) was one the toughest final Elder Dragons in G2. The original fight had two phases, it has two elements being fire and ice, in a constant flux of power to keep itself from not dying from its own great power iirc and ending the quest initially freezing itself as it dies from losing balance in the end. Phase 3 was added on a later expansion which I don't remember but from its freezing death animation it refuses to die and thaws itself and pulling out all the stops as if they weren't pulled put before. The fight in itself is alreafy intense and any slip up from you would most likely be a run ender. This fight wasn't a joke and required you to be not only on your toes but also have reflexes on the ready.

yeeeessssssss I'm so happy to see this pop up. My absolute favorite monster from Frontier and while I haven't gotten to the point where I CAN fight him (the grind to unlock it is absurd) I've looked into him so much and hes easily my #2 favorite monster in the franchise. His theme screams "I am the king and you are in MY house" and as for the fight your comment of "There's barely a chance to breathe" is very apt. When you start the fight its 100% gas with the only break either being it's death or if you get to it's REAL fight the phase 3 transition. His power is so extreme that he has to exist in a special place literally called "worlds end" because his own power just shapes the area...which his power being a special element called "Frozen Seraphim" that's a mix of super powered ice, fire, and dragon. My final comment is that I love how in phase 1 then all the sound cuts out other than the vocals you can hear it say "Pray" and that's such a metal thing to do for monster fight.

Frontier is a special section of monster hunter that was never ported to western games, only being free to play now because of fanmade private servers and English patches. It was arguably the melting pot of the best the series had to offer, locked behind the gates of being an eastern only release. The reason for the incredible gameplay and music was due to at least 3 or so key factors: 1. It was designed by different devs as a "mixing pot of ideas" for the mainline games 2. It explored the more ancient deep and powerful monsters of the series further, implementing more lore into gameplay. 3. It was an online game and one of the longest running in success (12 WHOLE YEARS OF CONTENT UPDATES) , so they essentially HAD to make the game as incredible and attractive to audiences as possible from all ends to keep it alive. Progressing the story to higher levels of world ending danger, hence creating more powerful crazy monsters and incredible themes and equipment to go with it as a byproduct. If you'd like more unique music like this, definitely keep a watchful eye on the MANY frontier soundtracks. Unlike main line western monster hunter, frontier very rarely struggled to impress with its music with something epic out there with many styles to speak to certain music lovers' tastes.

I would highly recommend you maybe play a Monster Hunter game. World/Iceborne or Rise/Sunbreak are the easiest to get into. Monster Hunter music is pretty good but the people recommending all the MH music are recommending it from the perspective of someone who've played the games and fought the monster typically. It's sorta like NieR or Dark Souls, but different in the sense that in those games, the story and lore is what makes their OSTs so memorable, but in MH what makes the OST memorable is the incredible fights these monsters are. When Valstrax does his divebomb in time with the theme dropping, it's truly magical

Whew, man getting into the MH tracks now. They are top tier alongside FF, Pokemon and the PSO series, ever since first generation, in my opinion. This is my favorite game franchise of all time, so you'll forgive me please, that I must offer up some recommendations (I'll keep it to 6, each with different vibes) -:::- *Caedeus* _Monster Hunter Tri Ultimate_ (medley) - both themes are great and the second one has vocals done in the "Monster Hunter Language" (yeah, this series has developed a language for its characters and world). Comes off as something of a festival in worship of it or something, and it's very pretty. (EDIT - Was just informed you had listened to this one, I didn't notice cuz the picture was of Lagiacrus, apologies. Phase 1 of it is nice as well, but perhaps probably not worth its own video - I'll leave the recommendation here for others). *Crimson Fatalis* _Frontier_ (medley - 2 phases) - One of the most...evil and intimidating sounding in the whole franchise, especially phase 2. Fitting, too, since that thing is basically the Devil. The first one is somewhat calm, with sadness in the vocals (beautiful in one part), almost as if it's an attempt to worship and appease the beast. Suffice to say, it doesn't work and part 2 is full blown desperate cries to escape its wrath. It features Emi Evans from NieR, so you know the vocals are gorgeous, and epic. I also think you'd be the first on the Tube to react to this one, oddly. *Inagami* _Frontier_ - This one is just awesome, fast paced with a nice jungle/rainforest vibe with the usage of what sounds like a bamboo xylophone or maybe an Angklung. *Zerureusu* _Frontier_ (medley - 2 phases) - Just beautiful, not much else to say. Very very calming and atmospheric wind and guitar sounding keyboard strings (I think). Might be a bit too slow for a reaction (especially phase 1), but on your own time I feel you would love it, just to sit back with your eyes closed and _feel_ it vibrate through you. First phase is meditative, second is similar but adds a beat and ups the pace and strings. You're fighting something ancient, peaceful and light - but still ominous. *Unknown* _Frontier_ (Medley - 3 tracks, 2 phases for Black Flying Wyvern) - There are two Unknowns - the Black Fox, and the Black Flying Wyvern. Both are really good - the Fox version (aka Mi Ru) is more of an epic with a very cool tempo and beat, while the Black Flying Wyvern (2 phases - and this thing doesn't even have a name, it's just violence incarnate and needs to die) is the pure anti-thesis to Zerureusu and is just...violence and chaos, that thing is NOT playing around. First phase has some chilling, I think Flute but not sure, that comes in near the 2 minute mark and is probably the more chaotic of the 2, with phase 2 adding more of a distinct structure that is a perfect mix of epic and "you're going to get annihilated by this demon, good f'n luck". If you're listening to Dravonista's medleys, I recommend upping the volume for phase 2 of the Black Flying Wyvern (3rd track of the medley), as the mixing has it quieter unfortunately. These are a personal favorite of mine. And the apotheosis of themes from probably the whole franchise next ::: *Shantien* _Frontier_ (Medley - 4 phases) - This one has 4 different phases, and just keeps upping the ante every phase. It's an incredible epic and beautiful medley consisting of 4 master tracks and probably the most well known and appreciated in the entire franchise, even amongst those that never played Frontier.

The Frozen Seriphem Dragon, Disufiora a powerful cousin to Alatreon and both are black dragons. Disufiora wields the power of ice and fire thanks in part to the dragon energy keeping a balance in his body. The desolete wasteland that is the Worlds End, which is his unique arena, is what happens when Disufiora claims his territory and begins to shock all life out of every living being by scolding and freezing them to absolute zero constantly until is nothing but a dark wasteland. Disufiora has only one rival, that being Shantien, whos theme is a must react, who lives high above world with command over water and lightning. Shantien will fight Disufiora over territory but 9 times out of 10 Shantien ends up losing because while he is considered the top of the High elder dragons he can not match against the black dragons who are supernatural by default.

(My previous comment was during watching the video. Now I've finished watching.) 16:22 Oh gosh, you have no idea what kind of variation Monster Hunter provides. LOL This series uses every instrument on the planet. In fact, I got into this franchise BECAUSE OF THE CREATIVE MUSIC. If you want to have a feel of the variety of music throughout the series, I have a suggestion: you can react individually to the more "epic" style themes, but I'd love to see you react to a bunch of different tracks in one video for this purpose. You know what. I'm gonna make a compilation of tracks to demonstrate just how diverse the music of Monster Hunter is. I appologise that it's long, but I will emphasise again that it's to demonstrate the variety of music in the MH franchise. (I tried to make it short, but I couldn't. LOL) I am very confident that you will enjoy this compilation, and that it would make an AWESOME reaction video. BUT since listening to all of them would take A LOT of time, so I think the best way to do it is to read my list, pick about 10~15 of the ones that sound interesting, open the individual tracks on separate tabs, don't record your reaction the first time, and listen to the first 15 seconds of them. After a few tracks you will 100% understand the diversity. Then you stop and think about how you're gonna react to this compilation, since it's gonna be so freaking long. Once you've decided, then you record. In the actual reaction I think it would be best to randomly mix the order so that it doesn't get predictable. Maybe splitting them into several videos would be good? Note 1: Many monsters have different versions of their theme depending on the game, but I highly suggest you react to their original themes since majority of the time it's the best version. Note 2: Monster Hunter Frontier music can sometimes be hard to find good quality ones because it was a game released only in Japan and was an online game, not console. On your actual recording, it's best to find HQ versions. But there is one track that as far as I know there is no HQ version anywhere - Eo Garudia from MHXR. Okay, here is my list. I grouped them into similar themes. ↓ - menacing: old Desert area theme (Desert has many themes so listen to the one named "Crimson Horn") - creepy: Flooded Forest area theme (MH Tri version, NOT Rise) - scary: Deviljho (original version, NOT World version) - slightly sad/melancholic: Polar Sea area theme - silly: Great Maccao - Japanese music: Mizutsune (MHGU version, NOT Rise) - Japanese chanting AAAAHHHH (LOL): Frost Islands area theme (The instruments used in this are cool too! Listen carefully.) - Japanese male chanting: MHRise arena battle theme - Chinese music: Shantien (phase 1) - calm East Asian music: Amatsu (phase 1) (NOT Rise version) - Celtic music: Seliana day theme - Egyptian music: Nefu Garumudo - Malaysian(?) instruments: Rukodiora (the intro part) - Indonesian(?) music: Shara Ishvalda (phase 2) - flamenco(?) music: Wildspire Waste large monster theme - Spanish music: MHGU arena theme - African(?) jungle music: Primal Forest area theme - Middle Eastern vibes in the middle: Teostra (Rise version, though this isn't the original Teostra theme. All 3 versions of Teostra's theme are cool. The beat just slaps.) - rock music: Astalos (MHGU version, NOT Rise) (If this doesn't get you pumped, I dunno what can.) - church organs Dracula music: Malzeno - European style music with a tiny bit of pirates: Citadel area theme - erratic music: Deserted Island area theme - B-52 bomber music: Bazelgeuse (World version) - devilish music: Nakarkos (phase 1) - evil cowboy: Great Jaggi - most gorgeous music of MH IMO: Caedeus (phase 1) - Obviously inspired by the Titanic sinking theme: Jhen Mohran (phase 2) - very unique calm music for a battle theme: Galbadaora - heroic battle theme: Shagaru Magala (MH4 version, NOT Rise) - Flower Field area theme (Both are unique so it's hard to choose which. Ummm....I'll pick High Rank.) - Who thought elegant violins would make good battle music?: Painted Waterfalls area theme - interesting drum(?) sounds: Coral Highlands area theme - The feel of the music changes several times like the monster itself: Mi Ru - A Song of Ice and Fire: Eruzerion (phase 2) - You can tell it's telling a story: Odibatoras ↓This one I strongly suggest make an idividual video for the Ibushi + Narwa medley. Just mentioning this for the sake of variety. - A song of two lovers (creepy god dragons) reuniting at last: Allmother Narwa theme The medley of this is very interesting because it's music for two different monsters, and all 3 themes have a Monster Hunter language version (the one in the game) and a Japanese language version each. So 6 tracks. (if you include the instrumental versions 9 in total but I don't think the instrumental versions would be necessary in your reaction) React to this VERY last: - Khezu theme (wink wink) Sorry for the super-long comment! I'm VERY passionate about the music of Monster Hunter. (obviously LOL)

I'm going to be honest here. The song choices for Monster Hunter you've picked are pretty mediocre (Sorry to the people who requested them. LOL), except for Ahtal-Ka. I'm so bummed that you (or was suggested) chose Crimson Glow Valstrax instead of the original Valstrax theme, which IMO is much better. I just don't dig the Rise remix of old themes (except for the new Jungle theme). They lack the raw power the original tracks have. As you have pointed out, you are correct that many of these songs may not be complete bangers on their own - that they hit you hard when you've actually played the games. The ones you've listened to so far are not so unique in the context of game music AND in the roster of monster/area themes in the franchise. What makes Monster Hunter so cool is how so gosh darn CREATIVE the monsters are throughout the series. Since themes for individual monsters are supposed to represent the monster, I think it would be SO much better if the people who suggest you the tracks give you a simple description (Keep it simple, guys! LOL) of what kind of monster it is. For example: Glavenus = A Carnotaurus who has a 1000 degree knife as a tail and uses said knife-tail to attack you. Also, some themes for monsters are actually not the monster's theme but rather the theme of hunting it, and the background lore behind hunting it. A good example would be Shagaru Magala, who's theme sounds too heroic for such a vile creature. OR those themes which are about the feeling of the hunt; like how Ukanlos and Odibatras' themes are way too fast-paced for such a lumbering creature. I hope you read this comment and suggest it to your viewers. BTW I'll suggest 3 medleys that don't need context for you to appreciate them (like you did with Ahtal-Ka): 1. Caedeus medely (2 phases) Phase 1 is just GORGEOUS. To me the most gorgeous track in all of Monster Hunter. And phase 2 gets you pumped with the drums. It will definitely stick in your head for a while. LOL 2. Shantien medley (4 phases) (bonus: MHF trailer theme Shantien part) You can feel Shantien getting more serious with each phase until it reaches God mode in phase 4. 3. Kulve Taroth medley (I think it was 5 phases?) The ONLY medley in all of Monster Hunter that is seamless. And because of that IMO the best MH medley hands down. Beautiful music too!

@@athos9293 You pronounce ブラキディオス in English "Brachydios" instead of "Burakidiosu", don't you? Same logic.

Bro doesn't remember Zinogre's theme. That one had a lot of Electric guitars in it, sadly, the one you listened to was the worst version (Rise).
