Another thing you can do on top of this. Go to options>game settings>controller button icon type>type 5 This will actually give your buttons the correct switch button label in game!

There is one, in general settings it is controler button icon type 5.

you are actually a life saver, this is fantastic, getting the old dodge roll and item controls, just wish we didnt have to have such a work around because now the UI of weapon controls are off but ehh compromise

Took advantage of a sale recently and pick this up for PC, finally allowing me to play with friends who don’t have a Switch. Great video man, helped out immensely. One piece of feedback I have is to consider not switching back and forth the options when talking about them. Kind of threw me off.

I'm a big fan of changing the confirm button to B. I rarely play games on my Switch, and my muscle memory is tied to the right face button being the back button and the bottom button being confirm. This is one of the first changes I made, and it's made a huge difference for me.

Gosh thanks so much! I have been using my crappy ps4 controller for so long that it finally stopped working. Tried connecting the switch pro controller but the buttons were inverted, like you mentioned. Thanks again dude!

I personally prefer an XBox-style layout, and honestly, didn't need to change any config to play (I mean, coming from World/Iceborne). But man, that item bar change really got on my nerves! Thanks a lot for showing a way to change the defaults, really didn't know it was possible!

used an xbox controller...but ended up buying a switch one so i can use on PC AND switch. and ended up with the EXACT issue you were discribing were the game was using the xbox XBYA standards button...but was using the switch locations of said letters. so TY for this explination

Yo I have an issue when I play, whenever I connect my joycons to my pc and play rise, holding down X or A (attack buttons) counts as if turbo mode is activated. What I mean is that holding down X makes my hunter attack repeatedly instead of one attack. This is relaly annoying, any idea on how to turn it off?

I'm playing on PC but I'm using a Revolution PS4 controller with the extra buttons on the back, it works as it's supposed to and everything but I was wondering, does anybody know how to increase the camera sensitivity for controllers? I see it for mouse and I've tested increasing it, but it only effects the mouse.

There isnt any limit per the demo website as stated below * There is no limit to how many times you can take on each quest.

How to use bow on xbox controller? There are 2 types of attack - RT and B. But i cant mash B and aim together with one finger!!!! i prefer to relocate charged shot ot rb or lb but how? Help me guys

kind of annoyed that they didn't implement a pro controller layout for people who actually play it on traditional settings. It's super annoying that they just decided to say oh you switch players are out of luck, go back to switch. At least that's what it feels like.

Is it just me or is the X and Y button still reversed ? I can't seem to use the usual X+A combinations because i would have to press A+Y on my controller now, and i need 2 fingers to press those two buttons only

@@hansin3186 Hey, I've found a temporary fix for this. On the MHR Demo Controller Configuration, only swap the A and B button and keep the X and Y buttons the same.

2023 1: Go to your controller settings in steam. Set the option "use Nintendo button layout" to Off 2: Go in-game and set your confirm button to B

Source? Sounds like someone just mistook the fact that in some time zones it‘s the 14th as a „delay“ it VERY PROBABLY releases 9am JST, as that‘s when most Monster Hunter patches and releases were.
