My head cannon is that MHRISE and SunBreak take place during the same time line as Iceborne. This Velkhana is on migration and is here for a time before she returns to Hoarfrost reach. What a beautiful, elegant and magnificent creature! Welcome back, i need your armour for my GS and sword and shield sets. Also the CB design is absolutely fantastic.

I remember fighting this thing back in Astrea when Iceborn dropped for world about two years ago. Velkhana the Ice Empress(yes this is a female dragon). If you do not know what you're doing fighting her will be hell. Go full ice resistant and bring a fire weapon. Velkhana is similar to Lunagaron where it covers itself in ice armor when threatened. She has a nasty habit of unleashing AoE attacks that create barriers and pushback effects. Do not let her create any distance between you and her. And keep an eye on the skies above bc she will create ice balls that will follow you around and then drop on you. But seriously. She does AoE attacks a lot so be careful of those!

I always treat Velkhana as a female I didn't know it's actually female.. Velkhana and Amatsu both of them I treat female.

I started to love velkhana and faced her more often and frost craft was my favorite build. And I’m a HUGE fan of ice dragons and this was the best version of A ice dragon. I also prefer the cold because there is a lot of ways to stay warm and vary less ways to stay cool in the heat.
