MH is super complex, and the chat had a hard time helping. Maybe there were too few ppl experienced on those weapons but cool seeing ppl learn :) the beta expains stuff badly, also the controls are extremely complex. Its hard with new mechanics/moves even for veterans.

For future framy problem solving: Mh wilds is one of the games that will be CPU intense. If you lower the graphics, like you did, the GPU runs faster and just overwhelming the CPU more. Up graphics as high your GPU runs and try to discharge the CPU by lower or deactivate dlss or antialising etc. There are good videos on KZbin that will help you 🙂 Welcome fellow hunter!

That doesnt make any sense My fps went from 28-34 up to 33-40 after turning on DLSS My 3070 was struggling to create a stable fps without frame gen or DLSS, with Frame gen enabled i reached 36-44 So this suggestion about turning those settings off doesnt make sense

Than you had an GPU bottleneck, not an CPU bottleneck. My advised only works for CPU.

@@kritter3806 Have you checked Wilds requirements? a 3070 lands me comfortably in the "recommended" section, So its definitely not a GPU bottleneck, its an optimization issue

Brief freezes in the game are not because of the graphics quality (99% of the time). It's because of the CPU, too much information processed. You need to find the settings that are impacted by the CPU, textures are GPU settings. Just play uncapped

I had frame stutter issue then I found out it's due to overheating. Changing thermal paste solved it. Idk if this applies to you tho. It might just be the optimisation on this game it needs a lot of work

If I had to guess I assume they were CPU related stutters, only things you could probably do is either use a separate pc for streaming and gaming or buy a better CPU. CPU doesn’t really scale much with graphics so even with potato graphics it will probably still stutter.
