It’s actually hilarious to see how pissed everyone is once they saw the hardware requirements. All of a sudden the game looks “horrible”, when not too long ago it looked “amazing”. There’s no way you thought, seamless transition, bigger maps, bigger and more complexed ecosystem, and assumed you’d be running this on your intel integrated graphics card 🤣. But in all honesty, it’s interesting, that they didn’t optimize the game further to allow for a larger player base and a generally smoother game on all systems.

@@noodles8920 Especially when both Nvidia *and* AMD have said you shouldn't be using framegen *_at all_* unless your game can naturally get 60fps without it. That will just lead to input lag and even eaten inputs. The release, and for several months afterwards, is going to be a nightmare for sure.

People say optimisation when what they really mean is "console hardware forced devs to restrain the fidelity in games which enabled my potato to run things well". Thanks to the huge leaps in hardware power though, there's no reason to keep games limited to low tiers of hardware for acceptable performance... It's kinda like any hobby, your experience scales with your wallet. People are only upset because out of all the other hobbies, this is the one that allows you to escape life rather than enrich it. That escapism has currently been gated by the fact you now have to actually inject effort into your irl life (pulling overtime at your job and saving etc) to afford the highest end hardware. Now it's like every other hobby and it has people with nothing else but gaming in their life all entitled and angry e.g. when was the last time you heard musicians, fisherman, drag racers or allotment keepers complain en masse about the price of their chosen hobby?

Depends of if you want extra cosmetics to make your character,mount and palico cooler but the base game is already expensive. If you have the extra cash to spend on the deluxe or premium deluxe edition then spend it but if not just buy the base game and save the remaining cash for the DLC that comes out a year or 2 after

Any game is a good place to start. They're all beginner friendly. But i do recommend you buy the ones on sale( specifically rise or world) since you can see if you'll like the gameplay.

MH World is my first MH game. It took me close to 10 hrs before it started to click. Now I'm 30 hours in and can't put it down. Now I know I'll get Wilds for sure. So give one of the suggested games a try first to get a feel for it so you're ready for Wilds. I'm glad that's what I decided to do
