This is one of the many reasons you could steamroll monsters in MH Rise. It's Sunbreak expansion allowed us to hunt with npcs as well. Palico and dog utility + wirebug movement was overkill in multi-player. Wilds slows us back down a bit so this will be fine now. Ima miss have custom hunter arts/ switch skills tho. Those were badass

@@nyalan8385 gta is a great franchise, I know just how impactful it is, but unless it innovates on its now pretty jank and outdated mechanics, it's not getting goty. But I also think it is unfair to compare two drastically different games. I believe both games have a chance at goty or nominations (which i believe both will receive, at the least, a nomination), however gta, as it is now, is as outdated at Bethesda's design. This doesn't make it bad by any means. However, if it doesn't innovate, it will fail to capture anything but nostalgia. A good example of why innovation is important is Armored Core 6. A from software title that returned after a nearly decade hiatus. It drastically improved and built on the old formula and got awarded as best action game of the year. That's why I believe Monster Hunter can win game of the year. Not only has it drastically improved how the game is played, but it innovated its natural design by expanding into an open world.

@@the8382 Until Rockstar releases a gameplay reveal, it's too soon to judge. Also its hard to compare these games when they're so different. If anything, I hope rockstar doesnt fumble gta6 and pull a watchdogs 2 (which failed to bring worthwhile elements of the whole identity of deadsec) and accidently just make a game thats a graphical overhaul and not mechanical improvement. Gta is a great franchise. But its gameplay is outdated. MH remedied its same old gameplay in mhw with clutch claw combos and rise with wirebugs and used what they learned to combine them into what wilds has. I only hope that Gta expands on the elements it did so well at and actually finally creates a world where your presence actually affects things, rather than a simple wanted system and story missions. It would be really cool if you could interact with gangs through separate parts of the stories, and depending on your actions, they treat you differently. Where you progress your persona through missions or random activities. I just hope they don't pull a gta online situation and gives us nothing new, even though the story does like a gold start for interest.

And while I like the fated four a lot, those 3 apexes are absolutelly insane I can't wait to see if the ice on will bé as cool as the Gammoth if not better

I am very, very worried for the performance aspect of this game. I have doubts my setup will even be able to run it. I own a 3060 and a r5-5600x, which were barely enough to handle dragon's dogma 2 at medium-low settings and 1080p resolution. And this game seem to have even higher requirements, on top of Denuvo... I am very excited for this game, it looks incredible, but I fear that with the growing hardware requirements and the absurd pricing of the high-end GPUs, I'll have to pass on many titles going forward.

denuvo on world had zero impact, the denuvo drama is overblown, world still ran like shit without denuvo. The real drama and biggest problem nobody is talking about is if this game will be region locked like world and rise on pc, literally makes zero sense, this ruin the game for everyone, region lock based on steam region download.

That software is only the tip of the iceberg, the truth is that from what we've seen with DD2 the engine currently being used by Capcom is absolutely terrible for open world games, especially those that require a lot of cpu processing for the npc's or, in this case, the creatures.

They have only shown 2 and 3 star monsters in the trailers and this is including Reydau. The Elder Dragons are 4 or 5 stars. So it is logical that they have not included any.

What's more insane is that this octopus doesn't seem to be the real Black Flame. Because the one depicted in the old memory of townsfolk here legit have body engulfed with black fire in the brief flashback, while the surrounding flame have its usual color. Even this new octopus only spits standard flame, but coated in black oily substance.
