Nice limit of trout there for a city lake. Looked like a nice day also. Thanks much for sharing your videos.

I caught I think a brooder (don't know much about trout and where the State puts them) at Silver Creek Reservoir that size on December 20th. Since I don't keep my fish, it is still there. I was using a small tube lure (white and green 2" White Tiger from Jerry's I got at BiMart in Keizer) on a Gamakatsu tube head #25. I have to keep moving, doing something, so bottom fishing is not my thing. I was really surprised getting that size of rainbow on a tube lure, especially at only about 6' of water.

Wow, great job! Thanks for sharing. Those Brooders like to cruise the shorelines and Silverton Reservoir got a Brooder Stocking in Early/Mid December so there's lots more in there.

Does odfw post the brood stocking on the stocking schedule? Or where do you guys find that?
@northwestweekenders4 ай бұрын
They don't post it on the weekly stocking but they will let you know in the recreation report sometimes. We usually just base it off of past years and the key is to just go frequently because they don't always give you all the information. Mid to late November through January is usually very productive.

How long is your leader?
@northwestweekenders Жыл бұрын
I tend to use super long leader (like 4-5 foot), but I think we were running a 2.5- 3 foot leader this day.
