I hope he has some children so there can be more peeps like him in the world rockin' the outdoors . I hope I cross his path someday out there . How about considering a public invite expedition some day so we can all enjoy your fun loving outdoor oriented company on a personal level . Once or twice a year would be really cool . Love the content. With fly fishing, one of the best tips I got when I was starting was keep your rod tip at 11 and 1 with your fore and back casts. Load the tip, or let the weight of your line bend the top of the rod on your back cast and you’ll have a must easier time getting a good line presentation.

Fly fishing tip: How do you choose a tippet? Basic info is that big hook=thicker tippet And Small hook=smaller tippet Bit more advanced info is that if you have 12 size hook divide it by 3 or 4 (12/4=3 ; 12/3=4) and there is your tippet size. For good info on this subject Mad river outfitters is the best channel on KZbin Edit: right tippet size is extremely important

When fly fishing it’s important to take your time on your backcast, reach your arm back farther and hesitate before you bring your arm back forward. When bringing your arm forward you are going to want to point at the destination you want your fly to go to and follow through to that point. Love your videos! Ps. Make sure not to have too much line out.

Yessir. I learned with my Dad and I struggled with letting the fly come all the way back before bringing it forward.

if you have that line pile up, strip that pile out where you have the line straight out in front of you, then when you cast it wont S behind you. you just need to pull the pile out, itll make it easier to form a tight loop.nice content

Glad I found your channel! Liked/sub'd/notify on. [Learn how to roll cast and it will make fly fishing easier for you. Also remember 80% + of a trout's diet is underwater, not on the surface.
