I miss having a rig that can go up there in the winter. But it's still a great place any time of the year.

Glad we have old snow wheeling videos to watch since the good spot is closed lol
@MonsterJeep4 жыл бұрын
I know...Kind of feeling like this year may be a bust. With so little areas open, they are overrun with wheelers...

Great video, keep up the good work. Can I ask what gear ratio and size tires you have? They look KM2's?
@MonsterJeep8 жыл бұрын
Right-on Bradley...yes, KM2's 35x12.5x17. I'm still working with the stock Rubicon stuff - 411 gears with a 4 to 1 transfer case.

Sorry not to pester you but, aren't you worried about hi lift jack thieves? I'm almost ready to mount mine but, I'm really concerned about it being stolen.
@MonsterJeep8 жыл бұрын
Smiles * Oh yeah, I used to be really worried. Got a set of locks for it, but with my set-up it took four locks, and one stripped out so I went back to the wing nuts. So far so good. I worry about my shovel too...it is held to the spare tire with a bungee cord. :o

That ridge at 15:30 is always fun. It's been named "butt pucker ridge" and for a reason!
@MonsterJeep8 жыл бұрын
Right on Max, I see you're familiar, that's awesome. Funny, I've always referred to that section as avalanche alley. At least the bolder is now out of the way... :)
@mkleyn998 жыл бұрын
Monster Jeep yeah I've spent countless hours up there on my previous trucks. Love the area! And yes, that Boulder was a huge problem. As of last week, the ridge is still open. Idk how it is now after these low elevations though. I have been stuck on that ridge before, and had to winch to trees far beyond my winch line. I always carry extra straps and chains and I used every one of them on that ridge!
@budnixon8 жыл бұрын
After few run with you, I started calling it "oh crap ridge!" :) But this video shows that he caught perfect timing for an overnighter, perfect morning clear skies as well... :) Glad to see someone enjoying those moments, even if its not me!!!... One of these days, i'll be back! :)
