It'd be nice if climate just had some other effects instead of full on fuck-you debuffs. Chaos regions give corruption, wastelands less growth, etc. That way you can also thematically build shrines in the wastes and farms in the badlands to counter it

It's honestly kinda bonkers that they didn't just give Tamurkhan pleasant mountain habilitity if that's a direction he's supposed to expand in. Especially considering they didn't even bother "balancing" habilitabilities when they added Chorfs (they feel at home pretty much everywhere).

​@MonstersAbound when it becomes available after the patch, there is a mod I use that slowly acclimates your owned provinces over time. It's called Climate Adaptation, I think. I kind of like the narrative of doing that over just getting rid of the preferred climates altogether

I think the main issue with chariot units is that they are super micro intensive. They are generally great units with a great potential to kill every enemy infantry unit if managed well, but most players simply do not have the macro to use them to their absolute best. And why would you bother when you have much more convinient options to deal with enemy infantry. It does not help that they also have low unit count and get stuck and die most of the time if you make a mistake.

Yeah razing settlements doesn't really do anything it's way easier to just conquer it and use the replenishment. Razing takes all your movement, leaves you in a potentially poor position and doesn't give you as much money as sacking.

@@MonstersAbound from what i've seen is that razing cities is only something to do if its in a red-zone for your faction, so that you dont have to make a larger investment to keep the area, or to just remove a faction without expanding in that direction. still the negative opinion of factions from the same race would still be there so you will be down: army losses, territory, and faction opinion.
