Mont Blanc - Individuel (Summer Nights Out)

Over the next 4 weeks, i'll be reviewing on Friday nights great "Summer Night Out" Fragrances. In the hotter weather Fragrance lovers usually eschew from wearing darker and deeper scents, leaving certain collectors slightly bewildered about what to wear.
Tonights episode is the very well loved: Mont Blanc's Individual and the appropriate summer night out setting is: Clubs/Pubs/Bars/Lounge.

Original Santal used to be my to-go evening fragrance. I started wearing Individuel (which is very similar) but not one compliment. I want back to Original Santal and, again, nobody seemed to noticed. Therefore, Individuel ruined my life! LOL! Honestly, it's a great fragrance. I like having both Orginal Santal (which I find better/more appealing) and Individuel in my Scent Armory, but I won't fault anyone for having Individuel and not paying Creed prices. Individuel is 95% similar to Original Santal and just a solid, and affordably priced, fragrance. Spot-on review - enjoyed!

Fun fact: Original Santal was made to knock-off the scent of Individuel, not the other way around... MBI was out for 2 years before Santal released...

Opening, for me, comes off as a garbled mess. The dry down is nice however. The opening keeps me from wearing it more because, as much as I prefer being noticed for wearing a scent, I wear a scent mainly for myself as a feel good element to counter the daily grind.

I agree, Summer nights can be tricky. Aqua Fahrenheit has done a nice job of filling that void for me this year. Also, good description of Individuel. It's not an easy one to put describe, especially when you're trying to put a stamp on the overall vibe it projects. I've actually been using it to fill another void in my wardrobe: a dumb reach for Winter days.

Had a sample of OS by creed a couple years ago, liked it but not that much tbh. Individuel by MB is very good though, I feel it has more of a pop and is a little easier to wear than OS, but damn I'm surprised by the sweetness I'm getting off it, cinnamon and pineapple with raspberry, woody notes and lavender come together to make something so damn appealing, fresh, sweet and masculine. This is a hidden gem. Great fragrance.

Great review, but I'm not a fan of this. Haven't smelled it in a while, but I had a 5 ml sample and I regretted every ml of it.☺ I think it's the raspberry note that I can't stand, just like in Diesel fuel for life.

Mont Blanc Individuel is greatest cheapie of all time. It is such a high quality frag that garners tons of compliments.

troecurov3 Performance is above average. It isn't a beast mode fragrance if that's what you're looking for, but I get a solid 6-8 hours of longevity, 2 hours of above average projection and sillage. I do, however, layer it with Midnight in Paris and use a cocoa butter and shea moisturizer as base to beast up performance. You will project like an absolute monster first 2-3hours.

I own it, and have never thought about wearing it in the high heat. I guess I can always try while it is still hot here. Maybe not today, because I'm already wearing something, but perhaps tomorrow.

Cool vid as per but this stuff stinx n gives me a head ache. I bought n tested it then swiftly moved it onto the next swingin dick on ebay. Glad it works for you though. I just bought Yves saint Laurent m7 oud absolu for the winter and really smells like 24 gold on the dry down. Peace
