just gained alot of respect. when that deer was out @ 592 the first time and you backed out then hunted him and eventually got to 300. the fact your not killing deer at distances they don't even know your there and having some woodsmanship to get close is cool to see

Really enjoy watching all of these videos and hearing all of the appreciation of the hunt, the land, the animals and just the simple opportunity to be outdoors. I wish society today would demonstrate the same for living in America and being free. Wonderful video!! Thank you.

I have never seen muleys and antelope just hanging out together, except when the snow is deep and they're all pushed down on farmland. Cool Video.

Jason, your hunting ethics are to be commended. You are a true ambassador to the sport of hunting and I thoroughly enjoy watching your videos! Congratulations on harvesting a wonderful buck!! I have lived the majority of my life in Utah where the beautiful mountain scenery always call to me, but through the art of your wonderful video footage I am fastly growing to love the beauty of the Montana landscape you hunt. Keep up the good work!!

Moving from Logan and leaving the beautiful mountains of Utah was hard, but now being in the badlands of Montana and watching massive bucks each year it takes special training and patience to pass on a buck that in Utah is considered a monster and then being here where the average buck is 160+ and now I have whitetail to hunt with a season that spans 2.5 months is awesome, I’ve watched monster bucks in Utah but here I live with them

Man, I wish I had private land to hunt in eastern MT!
@jasonmatzingerofficial4 жыл бұрын
Then you should go do it instead of just wishing about it! I gained access to 3,700 acres last year by stopping and asking a truck alongside the road if they needed help. After a short conversation the lady told us to go meet her husband at the ranch house and he could show us where we could hunt! Didn't even have to ask... We gained access to 17,800 private acres on dads moose hunt in one night on the other side of the state. Only one rancher asked for a case of Coors... I think people make out gaining access to private alot harder than it needs to be. That being said, I am still super proud of my public land honey holes too. They have continued to produce for years. Thank you for watching!
@robertfryer98214 жыл бұрын
Jason Matzinger- I have been in eastern Montana now for 9 seasons and you are right most ranchers do not mind you hunting there land, most just prefer that you let them know, most just like to know who is on there land. One other good practice I found is to offer to fix fence or just offering to bring garbage from there ranch house into town is a great way to show you appreciate them allowing you to use there land now after 9 seasons I have 4 sections by the river to hunt whitetail and another 12 sections through the badlands. On top of that eastern Montana has great opportunities for public land hunting
