What about Torrence? Fouts wouldn't be in this position if Torrence wasn't able to get out of jams and keep NW scoreless up until the 5th inning. Please don't take this the wrong way but I think Torrence was the one who really kept their season alive.

@@daisymontague9515I’m black and I just don’t think this is the reason it’s because Montana is one of the best pitchers in the country and is the face of Alabama softball and one of the biggest stories going into postseason if she was going to play or not after her injury so her coming back is a big thing and anything she does is going to be a huge story Jaala has done an amazing job she deserves more credit but like I said Montana is the face of Alabama softball and I would argue the face of NCAA softball

A few years ago Fouts was the player who developed my interest in NCAA softball. She was dominant and often had little run support. However this performance, given her injury, really tells about her character...TEAM FIRST! Great young woman.
