I lived in MT for years-and have never stopped wanting to go back. People don't understand the inner peace that comes with all that scenery, the wide open skies, the mountains, the fresh air......my only 'wish' for this video is that they had left the camera on every shot for just a few more seconds-5 maybe. LOVE this video....LOVE my home!!!!

if you want the ocean, go to california, if you want tourist traps, go to new york or las vegas, if you want a breath of fresh air and the beauty our earth still holds, theres only one place to find that, and thats Montana.

There is just something special about Montana, it has this aurora to it. The beautiful mountains to the west and northwest and then the wide open plains where you can see endless landscape. I live in Montana and at some points I feel like I am in heaven, the way sun sets on the mountains and the reflection of the sun on the rivers surrounded by pine trees is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. I will never leave this place

Wonderful land - greetings from Innsbruck/Tirol/Austria/Europe - Montana - the place I always wanted to be. So much land, so much space - perfect conditions to be and to feel free! Maybe in another life ... .

I'm glad they included a bit of beautiful eastern Montana. So many of the photos and stories about Montana ignore everything east of Billings and north of Great Falls. To a lot of us from the eastern Montana prairies, there is no more beautiful place on earth than eastern Montana in the spring with the miles and miles of green grass and wild flowers. Mountains and trees don't do much for us, we like the wide open spaces and the view for a hundred miles in any direction.

**another bonus; if you happen to get stuck on the side of the road, 98% of the people driving by WILL stop to help! I have never experienced that in ANY of the other states I've lived in. Genuine selfless acts, taking care of whomever needs it. That's my home (^_^)

I don't know why God has been calling me to go to Montana. He has put it in my heart. He knows I can't right now with my 90 year old veteran father that I care for. All I know is it will be a healing trip for me after my father passes. The beauty of wide open spaces and mountains is what I'll need to deal with the loss and grief of no living parents. I also need to go to find out why God is calling me to Montana. I am curious to know what God has there for me. Hmmm...? It would be nice to see an eagle in person. My mom's favorite, may she rest in peace.

Depends on the year; have seen -30 winters, and one GREAT winter with 6 feet of snow overnight =) It's darn chilly-but the air is dry, so it doesn't feel cold. They also use sand on the roads instead of salt-saves your car from rust! PERFECT place to live, raise children and experience true inner peace. Stunning scenery EVERYWHERE.
