I remember ordering a cassette of this back in the early 90s when I was living in Missoula. I saw a tv commercial for it and it caught my interest though I'm not generally into country. Very heartfelt songs. I've been a lot of awesome places but honestly Montana on a fall morning is still one of the most beautiful things I've seen. Magical country.

Thank you LeGrande ... this CD stays in the player in my wife's van...and Iv'e listened to this song at least once a day since she passed away in October 2014. This was and always will be "Our Song".

I am a born native of Missoula Montana and I've been renowned in that city for the last fifteen years as a convenience store clerk who is very friendly and outgoing with customers. I first became familiar with this song back in 1989 when I was in third grade at Missoula's local Target Range School. My ex-sister in law was the music teacher there at the time and she played this song for me and my classmates to sing for an upcoming school concert. I always really loved this song because of how inspirational it was. I remember rehearsing this song with the rest of my classmates in music class and getting my hopes up to sing it at the concert. Unfortunately, my ex-sister in law built my hopes up for a huge letdown when she had some kids from one grade below us get on the stage in front of a live audience and sing this instead of us. The third graders and I watched while seated on a floor mat and I was so irate with my ex-sister in law for screwing us over the way she did. Afterward, I was very angry with her. Plus she cheated on my brother that year which resulted in their divorce after eight years of marriage. She moved away with their two daughters to California and distorted the truth to them. She convinced them that my brother was cheating on her. At least now my brother doesn't ever again have to suffer through her hateful spirited wretchedness. I'm very happy that LeGrande Harvey wrote and recorded this beautiful song. It always makes me very happy every time I hear it. My spirit through the state of Montana soars high whenever I allow this melody to grab hold of my heart! ~Dutch

I choose this song for you Ted. I will keep it on my player and when I am walking the tracks I will think of you walking the tracks in Montana. I have a wallpaper of you and your brother and your mom and dad. I will keep these two of you for one week and than I will let you go because you are free at last to go back home to the place you love Montana. 🛤🏕💜🇺🇸🇦🇺
