Tears came to my eyes to see Wyatt so excited to receive a Bible for his birthday,I praise God. Sorry that you've had to deal with our govt here in Canada. We're not allowed to leave our country without the jab either or travel on bus, train, boat or plane even within our own borders, so please know it's not just that you're Americans it's just how bad our govt is. That $2.70/L gas is equivalent to $10.21/US Gallon, for those not familiar with metric there is 3.78L in a US Gallon. So glad to see you made it safe and sound and can't wait to see more to come

Canadian here- you can actually now travel on a bus train or plane within Canada unvaccinated- the United States won’t let you in without being vaccinated- I’m not at all justifying the laws just providing clarification

Canadian laws have been ridiculous due to the vaccine. Especially considering most people I know that had the vaccine have had covid as many times as I have without the vaccine. Unvaccinated people in Canada Have been severely discriminated against and it’s super sad

Growing up in Ohio near Holmes County where my family visited “Amish Country,” I always had the impression of tradition and never realized how much sheer bravery and fearlessness your parents’ experiences must have given you. Pick up and move the whole family? Start a brand new life? Build from nothing? You make it seem normal, and it’s extraordinary. Does it seem normal to you? How do you take a risk like this, when everyday life makes so many people stay put? Do all your friends and family think this is common, or are you viewed as especially adventurous? This brought back memories from 36 years ago when we drove to Alaska on our honeymoon enroute to our new life in Alaska! We drove it in Winter so you can imagine how scary those mountain roads were. I've been following you for almost a year now and I really enjoy the videos. My parents are Amish/Mennonite stock born and raised in Ohio. My family immigrated to Canada in 1974 and lived way off the grid about a 3 hour drive from Fort St. John BC for 28 years. We now live in the Charlie Lake area and love living here. It has been difficult not being able to visit family in the USA for the past 3 years. I hope you will come back to Canada some day, as we really are nice people. :) I wish you lots of happiness in your time in Alaska. We have lots of friends and family there too. Blessings!

Thanks for letting me (& so many others) tag along with you on your trip up to Alaska. I have a granddaughter, her husband & their 6 children now living fairly near where you are about to build! It was good to see so much of the scenery and wildlife along with you. I’ve never been there, only see it through my FaceTime chats with them & my Great grand children ages 1 14 years old! I felt like I was right there with you!! That beautiful lake you didn't know the name of was Muncho Lake in Northwestern BC. The bison are very common in that particular area between Muncho Lake & Watson Lake, Yukon. Priscilla did very well driving with the trailer around some of those curves & challenging hills! We lived in Whitehorse Yukon for 19 years, so know that road well😊

Thanks for sharing your journey! I hope to visit Alaska one day! Reminded me of our journey from FL to CO. An RV to live in while we built our house, a bobcat, three pick-up trucks and a moving van! Turned out ALL of the tires on the RV were dry rotted so we had to stop and get all new tires. We put Pikes Peak or bust on the back of each vehicle and no one separated us all the way out to CO. Fun memories! Excited to see your upcoming adventures!
