Hi. I own the Anti Freeze Hoodie in a size large and really love the fit. Since the XT is a Mountain Fit, would you recommend sizing down in the XT?

Is this the warmest of all Montane jackets in production? (2023)

Hi, great looking jacket. Is this an update to the "Montane Antifreeze Jacket" that had the baffles go slightly at angle going up rather than horizontal? It is the same name - the "XT" in the name is the only change. What's the difference? Just newer model? Thank you.

Hi David, thanks for your message. The Anti-Freeze Jacket differs from the Anti-Freeze XT Jacket. The Anti-Freeze XT Jacket has 210g 750+fill power, whereas the Anti-Freeze Jacket has 140g 750+fill power. The XT version of the jacket is designed with winter & sub-zero conditions in mind, whereas the Anti-Freeze Jacket is designed for versatile multi-season warmth. The fit is also different between the jackets. The XT is a 'mountain' fit, meaning it's cut to accommodate additional layers for added functionality. The Anti-Freeze Jacket is a 'regular' fit, which is a standard fit for core outdoor activities. We hope this helps!

I think I'll stick to my Montane Extreme Smock for now 😂

What I can see it seems you made here the same 2 design mistakes you did in Featherlite Down jacket I own. 1. Too tight elastic bands - how can I use thicker/warmer gloves? 2. Hood is not deep enough - when it snows snow lands on my face. I think hood should be deeper like it is in Hydrogen Extreme jacket (another one I own, pity you don't make them anymore).
