Error correction: you can’t use radiators for a custom liquid cooled loop on the bottom unless you do some case modding. The holes the case has are only to attach the fans, they aren’t channels for radiator mounting. My bad! 😅
@outlet698911 ай бұрын
I've watched many videos concerning mounting a radiator at the bottom of a case. Nearly all have pointed out that a radiator should not be placed below the height of the CPU pump. If the radiator is front-mounted, the inlet and outlet hoses should be connected at the bottom of the radiator. There are many KZbin videos concerning the proper placement of radiators.
@DannysTechChannel11 ай бұрын
I was talking about using an open loop radiator which is quite different in functionality than the closed loop all-in-one liquid coolers. It doesn’t matter in this case because as I said, it can’t be done anyway.
@outlet698911 ай бұрын
Thanks for your informative reply. I totally agree with you. There is a big difference between a custom loop and the AIOs, which only come with a pump and attached radiator. I am still waiting for a ready-to-install AIO with a separate reservoir, though it would be a nice feature.@@DannysTechChannel

Depends where you mount it. If you wanna do it up top, you’ll want AX120’s since they will pull air from inside the case and push it out. RX fans should be used if side mounting the radiator to pull air into the case from behind but still look good.

How much that two 140mm side fans actually help in airflow because they're facing that curved tempered glass? For the NON pro version without rgb hub. If my motherboard only has 3 5V ARGB headers (3A max), will i be able to connect 10 argb fans (9 case fans and 1 cpu cooler fans) AND the front panel light strip? Thermalright argb fans btw.
@tiberiumirica84459 ай бұрын
it should be fine. it depends a bit on the fan, as far as I know thermalright are not that powerhungery. you could safely link 3-4 fans on one ARGB header. but check the actual Ampere of the model you want to buy and the Amps on the CPU cooler. no idea how much the front panel needs but it can be much. considering the price it doesn't make sense to buy non-pro version in any case - even if you plan on using mesh you then move those 2 fans to the other bracket so they still suck air from the back and all you need to do is to buy 2 fans (non reversed) for the front behind the mesh. you are getting so much more for this small price increase of PRO version - 6 rgb fans (looking good as 5 of them are reversed) as well as PWM/ARGB 10 port hub that is worth alone the price difference...

@@ZenMotionSim Pro is anywhere from $40-60 more anywhere you look. You don't need to spend that much on 6 or so fans. I've seen king 95's going for $100 and pro's sticking at around $150.
