The best review! I subscribed so I wouldn't miss the battery test. Also of note, because Montek seems to be the only one offering more than 10A out of the Cig. Port, this unit may be handy for OTR appliances (found at all truck stops).

I've ran a compressor on my X1000 (the previous model), no problem. You can easily get more than 10 amps from the cig port. I've had my X1000 for three years now, and it's been flawless. Absolutely love it.

That dc side is impressive. Being able to get 5 amps out of both barrel ports, I think this is the first one that does that. They actually made them all able to put out what they are rated for at the same time. It is nice to see that. I know Bluetti fixed the issue with the new unit thanks to your video. I have never heard of 24 volt usb ports before. I am guessing it is safe for anything with usba charging cords to use. I like the size of these units.

The barrel port is 10A, not 5A.

For those wondering about the amazon cable comment. 4mm2 cables can pull up to 55A and up to a 1000v without problems.

Great review, with extra information not found elsewhere. Really on the fence between this (or it's NMC big brother Montek X2000) and a Pecron E1500LFP. Specs and pricing per kwh are really close. Would love to see a review of the E1500LFP on your channel.

Don't buy it! 😡The quality of MONTEK Power Station is poor. I bought their X1000 and it caught fire during use, burning my RV and my husband. We have called the police and the police took the product for testing, but the quality of the product is not up to standard. They used inferior batteries that did not meet the requirements of the US Market Supervision Administration. The batteries used in their products do not have UL, Rohs, or other certifications. The product does not have the waterproof function they describe. At the same time, the product is very bulky and inconvenient to carry. The internal structure of the product is very poor, the AC wiring used is easy to break, the LED lights are also easy to fall off, and the internal battery soft package is not fixed with a metal shell. The battery pouch is not resistant to high temperatures and can expand during hot summers. At the same time, it cannot be used at temperatures below 0 degrees Celsius, as it may not be able to power on, and there may also be bad situations such as flashing screens and inability to charge. The MONTEK X2000 and X1200 are not mass-produced, have not undergone batch testing, and don't have UL, Rohs, and other certifications, which do not comply with safety certification and pose a significant risk of explosion at any time. Christmas is also approaching, and many large brands of outdoor power supplies are on big discounts and promotions. They can receive goods in a few days, such as Anker, Ecoflow, Bluetti, and other brands There is no need to wait for more than half a year like now. @@markjob6354 the inverter is only 2000W each. Or you may try Ecoflow Delta Pro, two units could get 240V 30A.

@@bachellervirginia4832 I'm almost 100 % positive the X1200 is 30 Amps internally for both AC and DC, so split phase only needs to take 15 Amps from each suitcase to complete a 240 Volt AC @ 30 Amps in Split-Phase. (???)

I can see where it should be used laying down so both fan doors are open.

I have two X1000s and I always use mine vertically. No problem keeping doors open.

I'm waiting for youtube reviewers to address the real bluetti problem. And similar manufacturers problems. Long, LONG, list of consumer complaints. Headquartered out of Huizhou china. Offering 5 or 6 year warranty but hardly any knowledge of them honoring any. Will they even exist in 5 years? The companies only been in business since 2017? Does no one do videos on actual reputable U.S. suppliers? Serious question. I've seen only one KZbinr be honest on bluetti (not to single them out) and they haven't received a test unit since. Is there something wrong with addressing company complaints? Location headquarters? Years in business? If we are talking about honoring warrantys on these (often expensive) items it seems corporate longevity and location would be of key importance. I've seen just ONE called out by a reviewer, being totally honest. Now, they get no more models to review apparently. Go through the supplier list. The complaints, warranty concerns. Location headquarters. Lets get this on board and see what is what. Ever since solar took off a lot of "questionable" companies have popped up. Especially with the U.S. government rebates and deductions, funding available.

Why are you talking about Bluetti here? Virtually all power stations are made in China, as that is where all the components are sourced. I have lots of Bluetti units (among other brands) and several Monteks, and am getting several new Monteks, the X2000. They are, as I like to say, practically bespoke. Vastly different and better built with the highest quality components. The prototypes have already been superseded with even more features and refinements.

Because anything made in the U.S is going to cost you an arm and a leg. Regardless of how you feel about it, we don't have the manufacturing capability anymore, labor prices are high, and most of the components are sourced from China anyway, even if the unit does end up being assembled in the States. It is what it is.
