Thanks for watching our videos. Montessori is all about independence so we do not tend to have a high student-teacher ratio. We would have a ratio of 20:1 - with one TA. I know this sounds odd to many... but think about it this way. The more adults we have in a classroom, the more the children depend on them. We want the children to do things for themselves (as much as possible). Our job is to guide them.

Hello. I have this situation with my children: they do not want to go to the bed at night time. I always tell them a story, I sing for them but they want to continue awake and playing with their toys. What can I do?

Try to reason with them. Explain to them why they need the sleep. What would be the consequences if they don't sleep. How will they feel the next day. Children need to understand why
