Montessori Mathematics : Number rods and number cards

The number rods and number cards get a child acquainted with the numbers from 1 to 10 through linked units: each rod corresponds to a number on the corresponding card, and the units are clearly shown by the sequence of blue and red segments. The child is able to control the error by counting the units.
