Monteverde MP1 Vs TWSBI Eco

Thanks for the comparison info! I was hoping you would discuss if you can take apart the MP1 like you can the Eco to thoroughly clean it. I cannot find anything online regarding this........ 😞

Thanks, appreciate the comparison. There are aspects of the MP1 I find intriguing/tempting but my experience with Conklin/Monteverde has been hit or miss (granted, more + in more recent years) while my TWSBIs always write w/o issue right out of the box.

Standard #6 nib is a big advantage for me, though I'm curious what nibs it can take. The piston lock is very neat too.

I was hoping someone would do this video. Love my TWSBI’s but that purple Monteverde is nice.

Monteverde missed a good opportunity to add a little extra value and convenience by preparing the MP1 for a screw-in Jowo nib unit (instead of friction fit).

Nice review. I stay away from TWSBI, but I’m ok with Conklin/Monteverde. I’m going to have to get an MP1.
