@@HoonsCoffee it went fantastic, thanks for asking!, it was way better than I expected but worse than it should haha. I clean every other parts but I had not figured out a way to pull the shower out. I even tear apart the grinder every 6 months to check on the fabric-filter that prevents coffee from going into the actual motor, even found a way to replace it with a cheaper option if neded, is a delicate piece if it gets wet (trust me, I learned the hard way), and to be honest i does not need cleaning that often, perhaps once a year just to make sure is ok. I can share the details on how to if you want. Thanks again for the tip!!

I cleaned my machine this morning as well! I always keep it very clean, but I do the deep cleaning measures once in awhile as well. I like knowing everything is clean. Have you got your hands on the naked portafilter, yet? I got mine a couple weeks back and absolutely LOVE it. I feel like I'm pulling better shots because I can see how the coffee is behaving as the water hits it. It's also very beautiful with the wood handle. I purchased a different tamper as well since I was having trouble getting a consistent tamp with the one included with the machine and this new one seems to have improved that. Anyway, SO glad to see your face again and very happy you and your family are feeling better.

Glad to see you and the family are well. Really appreciate the videos. I'm having an issue with my machine. I'm using the dual wall dbl filter. It seems to be holding water causing a damp puck. Let's forget the coffee grind setting for one moment. Even If I run it empty the portafilter remains full of water. The machine is 4 months old and been cleaned twice. Now I've spent time cleaning the filter of grime and believe I've done it to a good Standard. I've poked the holes with the needle point supplied. I've allowed it to sit in descaler solution and hot water. I've even used an air pressure gun to push air through the holes. Yet even when the machine has pulled a good shot in the correct range and once it's finished dripping. The portafilter is still full of water with a soggy puck. Do you know what could be causing this?

You're are talking about manual mode. I did try both ways but I prefer regular way. Pre-infusion is simply wet the puck before full pressure.

Hoon's Coffee No.. you can customize the preinfusion time. Try it. When you go to pull a shot?. Hold the double shot button down. While holding it down, machine is only doing preinfusion for as long as you hold the button down. Once you release, full pressure and your shot starts pouting! A friend told me about this.
