@@ajarnwordsmith628 By pointing out the contrast between the extreme villainy of Hitler and civil life, it brings absurdity. Absurdity is humor. In this instance, it's lampooning humor. The fact that I have to explain this to you makes me wonder if you had extreme trauma, or a cultural upbringing that doesn't support a model for this type of humor. @annebeck58 is only rightfully concerned that others' culture and perspective will mistake this for something other than it is--mockery. Anne seems concerned that this mockery of Hitler will be banned because someone took offense to it, whether they understood it(and they don't like Hitler being mocked), or they didn't understand it(and reel at the mention of human lampshades). The very idea is that Hitler is a repulsive clown and the tremendous juxtaposition of civility edges this satire into a poignant warning whilst lampooning a fear. The only concern is that Hitler was no clown. He was a serious threat. Nevertheless, poking fun at an enemy can deflate their attempts at intimidation. Good luck with your life and thank you for sharing your perspective.

For those who don't know, Hitler and his goons started off in the 1920's like this : mouthing off in beer halls till they finally tried to take power in 1923. Hitler, coward that he was, was hiding behind his bodyguards. But just 10 short years later he was Chancellor. So this parody is very funny. And to right minded Munich people, Hitler would have looked just as daft in the early 1920's. But weirdos like this are so dangerous as there are so many people who can fall under their spell ... @plurabelle5cis just denotes something as not trans. you can attack other points but attacking the use of cis is pretty retarded considering the scientific history of the word, an excerpt: Cis-trans isomerism, also known as geometric isomerism or configurational isomerism, is a term used in chemistry that concerns the spatial arrangement of atoms within molecules. The prefixes "cis" and "trans" are from Latin: "this side of" and "the other side of", respectively

Recently read story of how Adolph went to acting classes to hone his skills in presentation, gestures & dramatic effect. John Cleese posturing with “immobilising frustration” then side slapping his aide for making a mistake, seems like a deliberate & brilliant parody of ‘Hilter’s ‘ theatrics. Ever seen Hitler dancing with joy, ?disturbing video. Monty Python we’re the Pink Floyd of comedy

That's a Gumby. They all played Gumbies at various points, though I think Palin did the best one. There are several sketches based on them, and they pop up randomly at other times.
