Planed for 2 years, stayed for the 2 years that’s a total success for you. What ever the future holds this 2 year time will never be regretted. I believe the Moody S38 is in fact the best sailboat ever produced in the entire universe all things being considered but I can see how the 425 might be better in some respects.

This has the best description and specifications for this size boat I have seen in Yachtworld....thank you! Your children speak excellent English, understandably even better than their parents. Can they also speak Danish? Everything has a different word and unlike you parents, I am not smart enough to learn a new language.

Thanks a lot Ed 🙏. Yes, for the Danish. Kids learned a lot of English on this 2-year journey. Especially, Hektor, the 6-year old, spoke nothing when starting. But playing with other englishspeaking kids just boosts the learning. And for our journey it truly has been epic.

Thanks a lot. The 2 years have been epic and this is not our ladt boat. Need to complete the around the world sailing! But building a house in Denmark is the next adventure 😉. Kids need a stable place coming years to build friendships for life. But will make 1-3 months trip the coming years and when the kids have completed high school and “left” the house then lets see where the wind takes us

Hi Bjorn, shipping can be organised although it is likely to cost close to US$50K...Perhaps a better idea to purchase in Tahiti and sail back yourself. In any case the boat is now under offer and the survey was done a few days ago with great success. The buyer, a Hungarian gentleman living in the UK will fly over after the sale and begin his sailing adventures here. All the best with your boat search! Anna

Hi, our planned journey from the start was 2 years. The end goal was Australia but Covid changed this to French Polynesia which should have been on the route to Australia. So not giving up 😉 but kids also need a stable growing up place to bond and get friendships for life. We had the bedt 2 years together and this will not be the last boat.
