Just happened across this comment and video. So happy you got to see them in concert. Thank goodness we have you Tube in order to enjoy them all the time if we choose. I never made it to a Moodie's Concert and now I am a little glad because I am one of those persons who would have had a spiritual experience because of the musical compositions that would be hard to break away from. There was something heavenly about these compositions and song lyrics. All though when written they probably didn't realize that they were aiming for an entire symphonic sound.

A special group of musicians. Absolutely brilliant in my opinion. I am just touching 70 years old and have grown up listening to the Moodies. EGBDF is a classic album. Unfortunately, only JH & JL are still with us, which makes me realise we are only here once, but many thanks for the enjoyment over the years.

I didn’t become a fan until I saw them at Sunrise Musical Theatre in S. Florida in 1991. I’d heard their songs when I was a teenager in the 60s but didn’t appreciate them till I saw them in person and was blown away. The next two years saw me traveling all over Florida to see their concerts. Ray and Graham are gone now. John and Justin appear on the Blues Cruise. Loved those Moodies ❤️

Beautiful God may bless you all Isn't Life Strange" Isn't life strange A turn of the page Can read like before Can we ask for more? Each day passes by How hard man will try? The sea will not wait You know it makes me want to cry, cry, cry - Wished I could be in your heart To be one with your love Wished I could be in your eyes Looking back there you were, and here we are. Isn't love strange A word we arrange With no thought or care Maker of despair Each breath that we breathe With love we must weave To make us as one You know it makes me want to cry, cry, cry - Wished I could be in your heart To be one with your love Wished I could be in your eyes Looking back there you were, and here we are. Isn't life strange A turn of the page A book without light Unless with love we write; To throw it away To lose just a day The quicksand of time You know it makes me want to cry, cry, cry - Wished I could be in your heart To be one with your love Wished I could be in your eyes Looking back there you were:

Orchestra is Colorado Symphony. The conductor Larry ( his hair looked a little like Larry of the three stooge$ *lol*). When they played the gigs on this tour Larry would put together a pickup orchestra of local musicians ( the Colorado Symphony was real, not sure if they still exist), rehearse them and get them ready. In NYC it was free lance musicians& members of groups like the NJ Symphony, Orpheus, etc ( was an amazing concert). He also did all the arrangements for the orchestra, and he would make changes from date to date to keep it interesting:) . Actually , it was kind of like Days of Future Passed, where they had a pickup orchestra doing the orchestral stuff& with Peter knight writing arrangements on the fly:)
