This brought to mind the songs: Sittin on the Dock of the Bay" and "Here comes the Sun" what wonderful, peaceful place. The leaves rustling in the breeze, ripples in the water as a turtle surfaces, in the distance a Mallard and a Drake making a nest, time of relaxation, just breathing in and out, slowing and letting go of everyday worries. I can feel the breeze and hear the reeds and Cat Tails, as the tides evolve, my eyes are closed and I am there in this time and space, if only for a short time, exhaling and letting the peace settle over me. Thank you for sharing.

They seem to be active almost like the QOR, which are great for background washes because of the way they move. They are a lot cheaper than QOR, though. QOR is also very vibrant. It is nice to see the vibrancy in the Art Whale. I can see why they would be out of stock already. :) Great landscape! Thanks for the tutorial.

They are fun paints to paint with. I love love love how easily the colors push into one another. How well they move I think you called it. So glad I got these. I did search Art Whale watercolor paints and found the company site and found that the 24 tubes and 48 half pans for sale at the same price, $35.00 They seemed to be affiliated with Holbein? Weird as they list Florida as their home office. But if your desperate to buy and cannot wait for Amazon to re-stock they an be found! Hi there Lindsay! I have been growing in my interest in watercolor painting once again partially because of you and your passion for watercolor and partially because I just like watercolor. I've been working on re engaging with ART on a daily basis and as part of this effort on my part I've been looking over You Tube which is how I found you. You are really great and knowledgeable and I am learning a lot from you. Thank You! I happened to discover that Rembrandt (the company) also produces watercolor sets. They are expensive but have very positive reviews. I doubt that I would spend what their paints are priced at but I'm wondering if you have any knowledge about them.

OK, sucked in again!. My Rosa paints showed up this week, and just swatched them out, and WOW are they pigmented. But the Art Whale WC tube paints are back in stock at $32, and I had $8 in Amazon reward points, so I ordered them. I have a cute little palette that will hold all 24 colors just waiting for the perfect paints, and these look like the ones! Like I need more paint (NOT!). But really, after this one NO MORE! But the upside to this is, I feel so guilty for buying all these paints I don't really need I feel like I need to paint more and use them. Like trying to paint every day. Which is a good thing! Can I convince myself of this? Yeah, probably. Thanks for this great tutorial. I will try this as soon as my paints get here!

beautiful rendering of a great scene Lindsay, but I must say that the "viridian" hue colour in the foreground...really takes me away from the painting, as it is too bright and does not repeat anywhere...thought you, at one point, were gonna dull it...and I was cheering you on...but nope you did not!....just , to me, sticks out like a "sore thumb" as does the red colour in the back-round hills...just me though...you may fell differently...thank you for an awesome tutorial and painting, once again!...Janis
