I think the moral of this sermon is the more hope you put in yourself and the things of this world the more you will lose in the long run. Therefore do not put your hope in yourself or in the things of this world

Thank you! Your message popped JP on my KZbin main page and thought I don't know you but trust Moody and my NASB Bible from 1975 is from Moody Press. Am having a tough season as a single woman with MS, family relationships changed to my shock and disappointment. I listened and cried and thanked God for this message as perfect for me to hear today. Please know your teaching has blessed me today. I have no idea next steps with my broken heart and questions but I say pray daily for strength and for help so I do not become bitter. You have been a real support and encouragement. I know I need the body of Christ and have no idea how. My faith in Christ has been renewed but seems things are falling away. Psalm 46 I am holding onto... May your ministry be encouraged as God chose you to reach me! Kathleen a sister in Christ

As much as we value family- often adult sons don’t want the parents- we are foolish n were not too capable in our child raising.

Love these sermons but the people in Moab were of 3 of the tribes of Israel. Manasseh, Gad and Reuben. So Naomi and her family went to stay with fellow Israelites. 100 years earlier when the land was given to the tribes these 3 tribes asked for this land. The Moabites were driven out and they took residence there
