Nice. Thanks for sharing. I want to be able to play like that. I can get the sounds -- now it's just a matter of working on the skills. I love how some of what you do is faster than the frame rate.

Just came across your demo, because I was looking for some new sounds for my Sub 37. However, what I'm really interested in, is what sound you play on the Stage 2 (incidentally, I have the exact same setup for my live band). Is it simply one of the "stock" Rhodes samples with some external modulation effect or something else?
@studioonetutorials9 жыл бұрын
+Sidi Christen hey. yes, it's simply one of the stock rhodes: EP2 MK I Suitcase with tremolo and chorus 1 (both nord stage effects). no external effects on the rhodes...

Awesome stuff man. Just got a Sub 37 and have been trying to figure out how to make a lead like the later half of the video. Can you explain how you made it?
@scottmacgregor46228 жыл бұрын
Nice playing. I really liked your patches on the Sub 37, especially at about the 3 minute mark when you switch over to what sounds like a sync tone?
@studioonetutorials8 жыл бұрын
Thanks!! :) May sound a bit like a sync sound but I just opened the filter at this place - so it's basically the sound with the same settings as before...

nice jam..nice moogy lead solo..is the delay external or built in..thanx
@studioonetutorials6 жыл бұрын
Thanks. The Sub 37 does not have build in effects. It's a Guitar Rig effect chain.

Very impressive improvisation. Are the Sub 37 sounds from 1:45 on presets?
@studioonetutorials8 жыл бұрын
Thank you! No, I build each of them from scratch...
@studioonetutorials8 жыл бұрын

great! really sweet sounding! do you mind typing out the chord progression, please?
@studioonetutorials9 жыл бұрын
To Mi hey, thanks!! the chord progression is fully improvized, so I always slightly reharmonized single chords to get some variations. but what I basically had in mind were the sunny / red clay changes (could be Cm7 Bbm7/Eb Abmaj7 G7alt). so the first chord (Cm7) and the last chords that lead back to the tonic (D7 G7 or Dm7 Db7 etc.) were mostly the same in every "chorus" of the loop.

can't thank you enough, man! just started my jazz journey in guitarworld so every goodsounding progression is a great exercise for the ear! :)

Great demo! Can you help me? Whats the best way to connect your sub 37 with Daws? Via Audio Out or USB? Thanks!!
@studioonetutorials9 жыл бұрын
+Paulo Ritter Thanks! You've to connect them both via audio and MIDI (either USB or by using the MIDI ports - I prefer the USB connection). You then can record your MIDI data and send it back to the Sub 37 to finally record audio with the DAW.
