I remember when Xianyun was first announced as a playable character, some people were speculating that Moon Carver and Mountain Shaper would eventually become playable in the future. I think it's safe to say that, as of this cutscene, they will be relegated to a strictly NPC role. The reason why I say that is because they use the generic NPC models (with the exception of a few cosmetic changes to hair and clothing), and they don't appear to have any Visions on their persons. Xianyun, at least, has a unique character model, has a Vision, and (other than Xiao) has also been the Adeptus that we have interacted with the most since Liyue's Archon Quest chain wrapped up. So I highly doubt we will see a playable Moon Carver or Mountain Shaper any time soon, if at all. But if by some miracle that it does happen, I would sure hope that HoYoverse at least considers making Jeht a playable character, considering how major of a role she played in several of the major World Quest chains in Sumeru.
