I love this scene, but there's a part that kinda saddens me. The adepti are slowly leaving their homes in Jeuyun Karst. First Zhongli and Streetward Rambler, Ganyu, Yanfei, Shenhe (though human), and now Cloud Retainer. I feel like people are moving on from the adepti life. There are ones who died as well; Guizhong, the Yakshas Bosacious, Menogias, Bonanus, Indarias, and Pervases.

They have long since served their people admirably, and now Liyue has grown into a nation fully capable of governing itself, no longer needing their protection, as any child will eventually grow up and be free of their parents' safety. I think this is a good thing. The age of rex lapis is past and while adepti are still powerful guardians of the land, they must respect that humanity must fend for itself. This also means being closer to the people would incentivise them to protect out of love instead of out of duty. Neuvillete is a great example of this process.

The main reason for Streetward Rambler and Cloud Retainer are in Liyue is due to the granddaughter and adopted daughters being in Liyue. Streetward Rambler' is a granny and guardian for young Yanfei. Yanfei is half-human. Family bonds are strong.
