I own 17 Audio Thing plug-ins. Among them is "the Orb." It's an incredible, as is "Phase Motion 2." I don't use them on every session, but when I need a "stand out effect" for a special part they deliver something very special. This will be #18! Thanks AT.

This is a sound design goldmine!!!.........I remember back in the 80s, composers would try to chain all sorts of electronic devices to achieve this sound (the period correct noise, pitch shifting dly, degeneration). It would take a while to achieve what you wanted, and that's IF the equipment was stable???. You've achieved all this in a plugin, which isn't just easy use but is really inspiring!. Well done sir! 😉👍

I'm so glad I watched this, having tested it out this afternoon I didn't realize there was a difference in tone between the full-wet sound of the Duplex and Simplex modes, and I also didn't find the noise envelope. Might have been better to put a little toggle for that on the main UI, but I can't complain about a freebie. It's a wonderful plugin! Congratulations and thank you to Hainbach and AudioThing!

Anytime something new comes out with Hainbach's and/or AudioThing's name on it, I sit up and pay close attention. Anytime something's cool, useful and free, I sit up and pay close attention. When something new comes out from Hainbach and AudioThing that's free, well what is there to discuss? You just grab it no questions asked! (Btw, I love all the kit - Noises, Wires, Gauss, Fluss - use all of it all the time!) Vielen Dank Hainbach und AudioThing! Beste Gruesse aus Kanada :-)

Thank you for this :) As somebody who listens to various radio-communication, and radio-signals in general, quite a lot (Both man-made and natural-made, and both moon-bounce signals and signals that circle the Earth multiple times via a cycle of atmospheric and Earth bounces), this plugin is a very fun one :)

I'm much more of a communications engineer and a ham than a musician but this is fascinating how one of the most difficult paths in communication has become a plug-in. It's an interesting variation and reuse of a channel simulator.

This is just so refreshing. Actually some very out of the box thinking, but STILL a plug that's actually usable! Great job love it feels very inspired would love to see more from your collab. Edit: I got a suggestion to make this even better - it would be great if we had one LFO with different shapes to automate parameters with like the doppler - I mean I can do this in logic or Ableton but still would be a nice touch

it could be a sun and a moon to make it resonate with the world we live in. the moon is a reflection of earth in the atmosphere caused by the light from the sun. The moon is an illusion just like the rainbow. and its not physical. all the moon landing footage have been staged. and if u look at any nasa video, theres litterally many ways tp debunk it. all nasa footage from other planets are cgi. the planets does not exist. the planets name in our solar system represents the diffrent distances from earth. there is litterally only the sun thats real and earth. the moon is a reflection.

Physical nonsense plugin! A sound signal needs over 300 hours, to reach the moon and the same time, to be reflected back, so 250ms or 350ms settings of this plugin make no sense to me. But I anyway never have been a big AudioThing or Hainbach fan up to now, after this one I am even less. My Echoplex (plugin) does a better and better sounding job without any fake-theory.
@audiothing5 ай бұрын
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on our Moon Echo plugin. I encourage you to watch the video on Hainbach's channel (even just the first few seconds), where the technique used to send signals to the Moon and back is demonstrated: kzbin.info/www/bejne/r6mldGmOr9qAhtU It's called Earth-Moon-Earth communication (EME) and it's using radio waves, not sound waves. It typically takes around 2.5 seconds for a signal to reach the Moon and return: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Earth%E2%80%93Moon%E2%80%93Earth_communication In our plugin, we decided to offer the option to "move" the Moon, changing the delay time. This allows you to use the plugin as a standard delay while retaining the (lofi) character and sound of the moon bounce. Hope this clears things up and you get a chance to explore what Moon Echo can do!
@HEZ635 ай бұрын
@@audiothing Nevertheless makes no sense to me. These and similar sounds I have already heard in the 1960's and 1970's from a lot of other real gear, but I do not hear anything unique, new or outstanding. Theory is one thing, final results are a different one and these results do not convince me much. I certainly do not need the moon or a Mr. Hainbach, to get these results. Any average tape echo does the same without some sort of fake-theory behind. At least for me. I prefer using my Echoplex or Copicat plugins instead. What comes next, as Mars or Jupiter echo, which sounds equally bad and boring? For me that was it with AudioThing.
