Moon Flower Crochet Granny Square

Today's crochet design is for my Moon Flower granny square, which measures about 4 inches by 4 inches depending on what yarn you used. I recommend using a 4ply or DK/light worsted weight yarn with a 2.5mm hook, but have fun experimenting with different yarn weights! This granny square would lovely made up into an afghan or scarf, even a bag and goes really well with my Sun Star granny square I designed in my last tutorial.

Laura, in round 3, you say to ch 2, but in your written pattern it says ch 3. I just wanted to advise you of the discrepancy. This pattern is beautiful, thank you.

I really like this! I did the sun one two days ago ans stumbled on this while browsing before going to sleep and had to make it.... my only think is, I had a really difficult time to get it to lay flat. Is that normal? I'm gonna try it again tomorrow (I really want to make a blanket with this and the sun star one) and see if it's because I missed some stitched somewhere. I just subscribed a couple days ago to your channel and have been crocheting along with your videos almost every day! I absolutely love how you explain it and show the technique!

You can always add a few extra stitches or chains on the last two rounds but it should lie flat

I'm afraid I can't test or film left handed tutorials and I don't like to just flip videos as I can't test them for accuracy, I'm so sorry! I'll have to get my Dad to learn as he's left handed 😊
