I recommend using a 4ply or DK/light worsted weight yarn with a 2.5mm hook, but have fun experimenting with different yarn weights! I opted for quite a thin yarn, a 4ply/DK light worsted weight yarn and a 2.5mm crochet hook, but have fun experimenting with different yarn weights and hooks to create different effects! I love the granny square!!! It reminds me of a shining SUN ☀️ , which I have been wanting to make for my baby great granddaughters wall. Can u design something like this but more like a SHINING SUN?!?!? I’ve been trying to find wall hanging like this for months. I would be willing to find one in different sun colors: oranges, yellow, golden colors and even reddish colors!! Suns are one of themes of her baby room decor.
