First of all I love your accent. I love this pattern. I am collecting different types of Granny Squares to make a sampler afghan. I make lap afghans for my local hospital. I volunteer to knit and crochet for my hospital. At 64 years old I spend my days knitting and crocheting. I just started to try and design. My first is a poncho I made for myself. I love how you explain yourself. Thank you. God Bless.

You explain it so well and your not rushing it at all I love how it’s all to do with the crocheting rather than showing off your nails like some others do . Plus it’s good to hear someone from the uk 🇬🇧 like myself 😊

Hi there, I see lots of comments asking how to make your lovely square patterns bigger: as an extremely novice crocheter, I'd like to know too please. I'm trying to inject a bit of variation into a standard treble-crochet granny square blanket for my grand-daughter (based on 8 rounds per square) and your squares are fantastic - but too small! Can you help, please?

What you call a "two double crochet cluster," is that the same thing as a dc2tog? or is a dc2tog different in that it is worked across two chain spaces or stitches vs only one chain space (or stitch) like this cluster? Just trying to clarify all of these stitch variants in my mind.

I have a request. Would it be ok to create the hawaiian costume crochet pattern for baby size? My baby is turning one year old and starting to walk. Although I am surfing through the internet, couldn't find one. But I did fine one on pinterest. But it's in paid version. As I am from Myanmar, I don't have credit card because the card service start launching in here and so. Is it possible to help?

Hello! I have a question...when you change colors, do you cut the yarn and weave in the tails later? If not, doesn't the backside start to look messy?

when working in the round why don't you use a magic ring? i find it easier than making a chain of 4 and connecting.
@HappyBerryCrochet8 жыл бұрын
Because beginners are watching my tutorials, chaining 4 instead means everyone can follow along and not just people who can work the magic ring. You can easily swap the chain 4 ring method for the magic ring method, and for those who want to learn the magic ring technique they can watch my tutorial on how to do it.
@TheMarthaful8 жыл бұрын

thanks happy berry. Recently, I learn to crochet baby booties n sandals. I'd like to know what kind of yarn works best. Cotton or Acrylic or Wool?
@HappyBerryCrochet8 жыл бұрын
Any yarn that is suitable for baby really, but for reference; - Wool can be scratchy and expensive, depends on your budget, the more you spend the better quality wool you will get, very warm for colder climates but difficult to wash, so maybe not a good idea for baby products! - Acrylic is your cheapest option and can be soft if good quality. It's a man-made product but very easy to wash and will last a long time - Cotton is somewhere in between really, mid range in price, can be super soft if good quality and is better for hotter weather and babies in general as it's natural and fairly resilient to washing, and pilling/fluffing too. Have fun!
