Steven telling Marc it wasn't his fault, he was just a child, was such a beautiful moment. Loved your reaction.

24:30 I'm glad you girls watched episode 6 right after this, because no Marc didn't need to get rid of him. Steven isn't just from Marc's imagination, Steven is as much a real person as Marc is. In DID all alters are real, individual people. Important thing to note !

Ladies the alter talking to the doctor at the beginning is not Marc or Steven.

16:21 Mind-blowing, Mish! What a superb imagining of the Egyptian Duat, where all the failings & regrets of your life would be held against you. And yet another masterful, emotional range of performances from the cast and from Oscar Isaac! Since Marc’s soul seems to have finally arrived at the Field of Reeds at the end, I guess we have to assume that his Ba (character) will be rescued, allowing Steven to re-emerge, somehow in the final episode.

Steven telling marc it would be his fault if something happens to layla was a very strong trigger 🥺😭 Steven doesn't remember the beatings his mother gave him, RoRo and a Lot of things because he has dissociative amnesia, to protect himself and Marc from stress. It is quite common to have this type of amnesia to traumatic events even if you do not have DID I love how Marc tries to protect Steven so much, from the beginning he always tries to reassure him and tell him that he is not alone and that everything is fine 😭😭😭😭😭

So far, this series hasn't really impressed me. I actually started re-watching Daredevil, it's soooo good. The Best Marvel series hands down.

@THE JOKER i love Egyptian mythology as well. I'm just not a fan of multiple personalities thing, which is odd since my favorite character in Doom Squad has 46 or 47... idk...i just found Moon Knight some what boring. 😴
@myTERAexperience2 жыл бұрын
@THE JOKER yeah, I'm not familiar with the character so it's all new to me. Just really hate when movies / series do an "it is all in their head" story, some what takes away from the rest of the show. Sucker Punch is a good example of it all being in her head that i really hated. Only one movie has done it well and that's because it was really unique: Identity with John Cussack. They did it and i actually thought, "damn, i hated that, but it's still a good movie because I've never seen it done this way." I think the hospital scenes in Moon Knight make it hard to like for me. 😬 Along with cutting out a scene to have him awaken and just say "yeah, another persona." Feels a bit like an ex machina.
@myTERAexperience2 жыл бұрын
@Morse crap where you never know if it's happening to them or in their head. Such as the bit inside the hospital. It flashes, they're in the hospital, etc. Cutting scenes to let the audience know they switched, etc. Stuff like that. I just find it annoying and lazy. Ex machina. Can't write a good script/story so you have them get out of the situation by something miraculous happening. ie eagles in Lord of the Rings. I used air quotes around in their head to signify it's not specifically happening in this situation everytime but the aftermath is the same, as if it were.

How do you four feel having split personality like Steven?
