I do like that they acknowledge the existence of other cultures and cultural phenomenons in the MCU, as in how Taweret mentioned the Ancestral Plane of Black Panther. This would mean that everything, I mean the Eternals, Celestials, Egyptian Gods, Wakandan Gods, Superheroes, Sorcerers, and even the Multiverse just exist side by side. Ahem. Bast is an Egyptian goddess. In Marvel, she left Egypt for Wakanda in ancient times. It makes sense that the other Egyptian gods would keep track of what she got up to after leaving. But yeah, it's cool that in the comics, so many gods from other cultures are real. It seems like half of them end up attacking New York at one time or another.

Gloria from Madagascar, the hippo ballerinas from Fantasia, the hippo siblings from Animanaics, their all big-bellied. Taweret is not designed like that, instead she's built like a tree with a slimmer, trunk-like body and limbs to match.
