Even if something is fictional, your experiences and feelings are still real. The fictional can be influential as any occurrence in reality. Video games are a more intimate example of this as you are an active participant, not a mere passive observer or reader. That's how I interpret the endings of this game.

when i was first confronted with the yes or no screen, i just closed the game completely and went to my bed and just kinda sat there for about an hour or so bc i was upset all the time i put into the game resulted in the death of all the monsters.

??? It's been a few years since I played moon, but I don't recall getting sent back when the clock hits anything. Nothing is ever missable. You can play at your own leisure. The worst that can happen is you need to wait an in-game week for the time to happen again. Something you can speed up by going home. For me, since there's so much to do, I'd casually walk around if I missed a time and came back later.

​@@NovaZoneTV 7:06 I am talking about this. I tried the game, started walking, and died without understanding anything, after that I just abandoned the game. I can't calmly explore the world when the counter is going down fast and makes me do things without being able to calmly plan and explore.
