Apparently they have SOC build-in in the usb. Not just a DAC but a complete microcontroller with 128kb of RAM. The SOC has DAC+Amp+DSP with audio quality upto 32bit/384khz. Moondrop is giving a Mic-Drop right now.

Something that I loved about the Quarks 1 is that it's the smallest bullet style IEMs out there with great sound. Because of that, I could easily sleep on my side with them. These ones though? IDK if I can use them for sleeping, they look substantially bigger.
@Atechreviews3 ай бұрын
These are still quite small compared to something like the Chu II. They're slightly larger than the original Quarks 1, mainly in the rear section, but they remain very small. It is one of the smallest IEMs I’ve ever tried.

I just got the quarks 2 and I found that they sound decent, but they don't have the best imaging. The sound is seemingly stereo. They definitely have 2 channel audio but listening to music most of it seems to come out as mono in regular use. Like it is trying to separate the left and right and you can hear it trying but it doesn't do it very well. I don't know what more to expect from a single dynamic driver though. I am also not entirely sure if it is the on board son and dac settings or the earbuds themselves but I suspect it's the dac and amp. I hope there is someway to adjust the onboard soc since i can't find out how to adjust the settings on the moon drop app. Otherwise, they are pretty decent headphones.
@AtechreviewsАй бұрын
The sound you're hearing should definitely be stereo, not mono. You might want to check if your phone has mono audio enabled. Try searching for "mono" in your settings, as I once accidentally had it turned on myself. You could also connect the device to a PC and test the left and right channels to confirm stereo separation. It should provide distinct left and right channel audio for proper stereo sound.

@Atechreviews3 күн бұрын
The Chu II has better sound quality and a metal build. The Quarks 2 has better isolation, a non-removable cable with a built-in DAC (so it’s USB-C only), and for some people, the smaller size might give it a better fit.
@zackaitozАй бұрын
I love to listen pop music and sometimes watching movies, in your opinion I should go for chu 2 or quark 2 ? Thank you 😊
@AtechreviewsАй бұрын
The Chu 2 is a far superior IEM, offering better bass, more detail, improved separation, and overall higher sound quality. There's also a DSP version that comes with a USB-C cable. On the other hand, the Quark 2 is smaller, has a different fit (better for some people), provides better noise isolation, and has a higher-quality USB cable.

Doee it come with a inbuilt microphone? & Why don't anyone test out the mic in their reviews of IEM's & If it has one, What do you think about the mic quality?
@Atechreviews3 ай бұрын
I’ll be testing the mics of IEMs in my future videos. The Quark 2 has a built-in microphone, but to be honest, the sound quality isn’t that great. It might be my phone, but it sounds a bit muffled. When I hold it closer to my mouth, the sound improves, and I’d say it’s just average or okay in that case.
