@@HughCorbyCruick oh I’m aware, 😁, I could feel the gods presence there that night. That is not something that happens very often. Even without henbane or flying ointment I could see through the veil, that was what made it truly spectacular. My boyfriend could feel it too and he’s not even heathen, he still could sense the change around him while we were there. He’s the one that surprised me with the tickets as a birthday present, so he was very happy with how amazing it went on multiple levels, ☺️. Hell my service dog even joined in, he has NEVER howled for music or while on duty but he sure was giving it his all during a few songs. Still knowing that, I can’t wait to go to more. I wish you many more years of wonderful music and experiences. Odin’s blessings on you.

With this concert and the involving of Native Americans, Heilung sat a monument. Showing to the world the common routes we all come from and whitch are still within all of us and will always be. And that is good! That is what Heilung is all about. Not viking, not norse, not Native American, ...... just ..... human. Human in the essence of its nature, in the essence of its soul! @@bobbyfluffynoodle Its always amazing to me how people read what they want to read. I never said Heilung expresses any Native American traditions, but they collaborate with those who do. They're also not entirely different. With exception of metallurgy, domestication of animals, language and boat tech the Germanic peoples and the First Nations people of N. America worshipped similarly, lived in similar climates and decorated themselves with similar materials and symbols (Namely the "Whirling log".)

This is the best footage I’ve seen so far. I got teary eyed when the Native Americans joined. It sends such a deep rooted message of truth. That western cultures were warred upon by the Abrahamic God religion and it’s followers. And when I say western cultures I’m talking both Ancient Northwestern Europe and America. Don’t let propaganda history divert you from the real truth.

So it's an abrahamic God 's job? Come on, that was Roman Empire that later stole and modified some thing that belongs to the people of Israel, also loved occult knowledges from Egyptians and Sumerians, and that later created the unholy Catholic beast, (a mix of what's mentioned before that is miles away from "abrahamic God") that are responsible. The Great Plains Indians of the US and First Nations Tribes of Canada (such as the Sioux, Lakota, Black Foot and the Cree) should seriously consider performing a live "rain dance" or other sacred ritual with Heilung... complete with their traditional and very badass looking buckskin clothing and eagle-feather headdresses. Those Plains Indian war-drums along with the Nordic shamanic beats of Heilung combined with the ritual-singing of the Native Americans in tandem with the ethereal "kulning" vocals of Maria... and that sh** would be straight FIRE!!

4:45 This song is about a bone healing spell! An old magic and healing spell from Merseburg, from the 10th century, spoken in Old High German. The first spell involves the liberation of prisoners and the second spell involves the healing of a horse.. The damage will be healed through repeating the spell. A small excerpt from the spell: ... Like bone dislocations like blood dislocations, like limb dislocations: leg to leg, blood to blood, limb to limb, as if they were glued together! .. sôse bênrenkî, sôse blutrenkî, sôse lidirenkî: bên zi bêna, bluot zi bluoda, lid zi geliden, sôse gelimida sin ! @@mkhjyt It's an old healing incantation. The phrase being throat-sung translates to 'hang the animals', which may refer to the old practice of hanging sacrified animals from trees as offerings, while the sung chorus is lifted directly from the 2nd Merseburg Charm, an old healing spell, that translates to "Like bone-sprain, so blood-sprain, so joint-sprain: Bone to bone, blood to blood, joints to joints, so may they be glued."

As an animist/pagan from central europe, you don't have to have germanic or native american dna to resonate with this song. Heilung are animistic to the core. Animism is a bit different than paganism. Paganism is based off of animism but animism isn't based off of paganism. Animism is an intertwined worldview and spirituality where every thing posseses a distinctive spirit/energy. All nature tribes are based on animism, animism is the default setting of evey living being. The gods are spirits/forces of nature that only received a human like face with the advancement of christianity. Before that as tacitus wrote in bis report "Germania" the germanic people do not picture their gods in human form but find them in places of nature which they deem special and divine to them. We are all one, all brother and sisters, connected to earth and earth is connected to us. Greetings from switzerland Edit: spirits/forces of nature are not only elements but can also be things such as the spirit/source of emotions like love or frenzy or the collective spirit of your kin.
