This is an update. I finally inked my T5. I am using the Pelikan 4001 Violet ink. What a joy to use! I hope you are continuing to use your pen.

Damn it, Garry; I thought I was done with Chinese pens (nothing against them, just transitioning to higher end pens). But now I have to get a T5.

The colour does grow on you. It's nice to be able to use it outside, the sunlight makes it shine.

It is certainly worth investigating. I am looking for a new piston filler. Considering the price, it is worth purchasing. Thanks Garry for the review. In terms of size, how does it compare to the Moonman M800? Try the Diamine Cherry ink.

It's about 5mm shorted than the M800. Width seems to be about the same.

is the piston have some give in the turning knob I like for there to be no wiggle room like the noodlers konrad

The nib is fairly stiff at the moment, but I need to see how it fares in long-term usage and testing. It's one of the things I do worry about with cheaper pens - how do they perform over months and years.
