Blade+Jingliu has definitely been a comfort duo for me alonside my DoT which keeps evolving. I do find it funny how Acheron can even work with Kafka and Swan despite some people finding that "a waste of mixing 2 teams".

I thought the same until I tried the Kafka/BS/Acheron team last night on the first MoC 12 half and cleared faster than using RM instead, I'll consider using that team much more in the future if I want to just do your normal hypercarry comp on the other side

Honestly this such a useful video! I was surprised because I thought this was gonna be an 30 minute-long video at least because I thought you’d include all character types (supports, sustains, and so on). I’m definitely most excited for Firefly. I mean, she’s kind of confirmed to be a 2-in-1 character with her splash art featuring Sam as well, not to mention that she’s one of my favorite characters in the game and is pretty much guaranteed to be a great unit judging by how Hoyoverse is constantly releasing these characters who provide so much value these days lol.

Love the Himeko team comps. I do also have a suggestion: When Firefly comes out, you can switch the second duelist with her as she can apply fire weakness and Himeko can take full advantage to it. I did hear Super break is great with Firefly and MC, which means Firefly, Himeko, MC, and either abundance or preservation units. While typing this, I realized you can also go Mono Pyro team with Firefly for break dps and fire weakness applier, Himeko for second dps and follow ups after break, Asta for speed and pyro buff, and Gallagher for heals, debuffs, and enhance break effect. Will use it myself and let everyone know once Firefly is out.

I found the best teams for a character depends on the type-weakness of the enemies. Brute-forcing is great when it works, but even if the team doesn’t have great synergy, just having everyone match the type-weakness of enemies, so everyone helps in breaking a lot, is important as well to get faster clears.

Great video! Since this is only for 5 star dps characters, I'd recommend a video covering 5 star supports as well - what kinds of dps (and/or teams in general), both 5 star AND 4 star, will they work well with. I've definitely seen some people who have picked up some harmony/preservation/abundance characters, and aren't as well versed in team building as some of us, so they don't know their best synergies and such (and especially when they don't have the precise 5 star dps characters that people will talk about!) I really hate the stigma that these players get trapped in, thinking that they NEED the premium 5 star dps characters to clear content like MoC/PF, when really they just don't know how to best utilise their assets, even if they've only established some supportive 5 star characters to their roster.

Aventurine, Clara, Jingliu & Luocha is a beastly combo & very synergistic. Aventurine creates barriers, Clara aggros & builds her & Aventurines counter damage, Jingliu outputs massive damage & Luocha’s area heal counters Jinglui’s constant team damage created during her attacks. Also this is a very SP positive team.

Can not wait for Jade. Even early in the game I loved follow up attack teams, I used to run elation sim universes all the way back at the start of the game with Clara/March/Herta and I'm loving all the support that follow up has these days giving me way more options now. When I got my sim universe recap in the anniversary event it said I'd used Elation path in Sim U over 80% of the time hahaha. Also looking forward to Firefly fully opening up a new break meta and bringing that type of team into relevancy. Feel a bit sorry for Boothill though, cus he seems like a cool character and his english dub PG cowboy cursing is hilarious but I really feel where he's positioned to release hasn't done him any favours. Coming out in between a Major FUA support and the next FUA DPS, as well as being just before the release of a major story line character that people are super hype for that may be the best dps alongside the new Harmony MC... Glazed Donuts.

Man, I'm sad I didn't go for Aventurine, but I don't know what I could've done when I wanted three characters back to back. Though my best team atm is Acheron team, which consists of Acheron, Welt, Pela and Gallagher, which I think is already powerful enough as is. Two extra nihility besides Acheron for her buff, and all three can apply debuffs for Acheron's stack, plus Gallagher's ult immediately advancing him and applying besotted to enemies, plus with the third trace, his enhanced auto after ult can heal his allies as well, making him able to grant two skill points at once, along with allies being able to heal by attacking besotted enemies, which makes your team able to focus more on attack rather than defense. Not to mention, Acheron's ult being able to reduce toughness no matter the weakness and reduce all type resistence, making enemies easier to break, which allows Gallagher to deal break damage easier. Overall, I think my Acheron team is in pretty good state already.

For my theorized acheron team (havent built it yet, lack of resources) i was planning to go: Acheron - Welt - Pela - E1 Gepard(Trend) Seeing one of the suggestions being basically that but a Harmony character instead of Gepard, and seeing none of the suggestions mentioning the Trend LC i'm starting to second guess myself on actually investing in these characters

I’m most excited for Jade, as both a mono-Quantum and FUA enjoyer. it seems she will be similar to Topaz, but for AoE rather than single-target. I’m sure I could slot her into RRAT team- either instead of Topaz as a sub-DPS for Ratio (good for Swarm Disaster), or even instead of Ratio of her and Topaz’s buffs can feed off one another. but I’m expecting her to have even more synergy with Himeko and Blade. for Himeko, I just got her E1 and S1 from losing 50/50s. this was a blessing in disguise, bc now she is an absolute animal in Pure Fiction. with Jade, I could easily see them both destroying waves alongside Aventurine and Robin. you could also run a Quantum/Fire team with Fu Xuan / Sparkle or Asta / Jade / Himeko, running Himeko with Genius of Brilliant Stars. for Blade, I could see Jade’s rumored HP drain having good synergy with him and triggering his AoE follow-up often. you could run a similar comp with Blade / Lynx / Sparkle / Jade, running Blade with Genius set. or she could replace Jingliu in the dual-core comp, with Robin replacing Ruan Mei to help with the FUA synergy. I’m assuming Jade will work well with Clara for similar reasons, as she is also a bruiser with a strong AoE follow-up attack and good synergy with Lynx. I need to find out more about her kit, but she possibilities she offers are quite numerous and exciting. and I will always pull for a Quantum limited character, I have all 4 so far 😭 same with limited Nihility, Harmony, and FUA units.

9:45 For Blade I have been using Blade/Bronya/HuoHuo and Hanya... Yes Hanya I do have better harmony units but even when the ATK buff is wasted I find it very comfy to play with her generating so much SP for Bronya and HuoHuo the speed is kinda of annoying on Blade but at least I managed to get her to act two tines before him so Bronya has the SP to advance him more

surprised you didn't mention any more preservation characters alongside acheron. i would always prefer a preservation character (with trend lc) over any abundance character. also a great spot to fit fire mc into, the stacks you get from taunts are crazy in pure fiction

Good options too :)! I did mention aventurine and Fu xuan (they can also hold the market LC), but fire MC is also a nice choice for the taunt for sure! Gepard is also nice because of his freezes.

@@Moonnverse yeah, i use fuxuan personally. but because i had to switch to Trend lc (i had gepard's lc on her before) and had to make sure she has enough ehr for the burn to apply, she is now a lot less tankier (i lost aventurine 50/50, otherwise i would have just used him instead (on a side note, i was really hoping for aventurine just cause of all the Gold and gears stuff, still need some conundrum10+ with all the dices, for the collectible stuff, i hope to get him on rerun)) bro why do my sentences always have some block of 4 closing Parenthesis 😭 noone gonna understand what i meant, not even myself

I run Dan IL with Tingyun that has 3 turn ult rotation and Huo Huo So satisfying to ult before every turn with Dan and wasting only 1 sp to do fully enhanced basic (Glazed donuts)

glazed donuts btw you didn't mention acheron's eidolons affect how you buuld her team i don't suggest anyone use a harmony unit if acheron is e0/e1 wait until you can get e2 or use your harmony units with other characters bc you're going to miss out on a huge damage buff if you don't use 2 nihility with e0/e1 acheron even if your harmony units are strong

Very informative video! I was wondering where Huohuo was but it seems you wanted to focus on the DPS characters. When I couldn't get Jingliu the first time, I decided to use my guarantee on Topaz rather than Huohuo. It was mainly for waifu reasons, as I don't like loli characters, but in hindsight, maybe I should've went for Huohuo instead. I'm a DoT main so Huohuo would've given me a lot of value with her ATK buffs. Also, I only have Fu Xuan and Lynx as my go-to sustain. Huohuo would've given me more options. I refuse to pull for Aventurine so I won't be able to maximize Topaz but maybe one day if they powercreep him with a female FUA sustain, I'll be able to make my Topaz shine. Again, thanks for sharing. And also, glazed donuts!

wish i had sparkle for my Acheron team but i pooled for e2 Acheron. bronya does well with the advance and acheron getting stacks from her taking her turn with e2 its good with the crit dmg increase in an moc i managed to hit 2.1M which was nice. as for pulls im gona have to go firefly im really lacking a fire dps. and sam is clearly best girl (acheron is best woman).

that team works pretty well, but if it were me I would switch welt with pela with resolution lc, allowing Acheron to do much more damage with the 50% reduced defense, but you can keep welt if you prefer delaying the enemies

I have Ratio and Topaz, Clara, Himeko and Herta, do not have aventurine (a choice I bitterly regret but eh reruns) and I’m wondering if Robin would still be worth pulling for. Otherwise considered Firefly but if it’s fine to not have aventurine might I could change my mind and get Jade

As someone who has Ratio/Robin/Topaz, but didn’t pull for Aventurine, i have no regrets despite liking the gambler boy. For me, i already have Fu Xuan and HuoHuo as sustain, so no need to pull him. Now speaking of Robin, she is great for FuA, but also works pretty well on so many other comps outside of FuA, a well rounded harmony.

@@scarletspirits9230 harmony characters usually fare better as the game goes on, and it doesn’t seem to be any different with Hoyo games. Having that said, Boothill is crazy, probably the first stonks hunt outside of Ratio, Firefly is destruction so busted as well, and she seems to benefit from Break damage. The only one i really dont know anything, in terms of kit and overall perfomance is Jade, she seems like Topaz, made for FuA, but performs better on AoE comps instead of singles like Topaz. Robin is great, and helps with clearing things like MoC, because giving the rest of your team, no matter the comp, another turn + dmg and attack buffs, is a lifesaver.
